A list of puns related to "State Highway 6"
So he turns on his lights and pulls the driver over.
Approaching the car, he notices that there are five old ladies, two in the front seat and three in the back, wide eyed and white as ghosts.
The driver, obviously confused, says to him, "Officer, I don't understand, I was doing exactly the speed limit! What seems to be the problem?"
"Ma'am," the officer replies, "You weren't speeding, but you should know that driving slower than the speed limit can also be a danger to other drivers."
"Slower than the speed limit? No sir, I was doing the speed limit exactly twenty-two miles an hour!" the old woman says a bit proudly.
The State Police officer, trying to contain a chuckle explains to her that "22" was the route number, not the speed limit.
A bit embarrassed, the woman grinned and thanked the officer for pointing out her error. "But before I let you go, Ma'am, I have to ask... Is everyone in this car OK? These women seem awfully shaken and they haven't muttered a single peep this whole time," the officer asks.
"Oh, they'll be all right in a minute officer. We just got off Route 119."
Just want to get your experiences on this.
I have points on my license, so I drive like a literal grandma. I have been screamed at 20 times on the road and honked at for going exactly the speed limit because I put on cruise control and I do not want to get a speeding ticket.
Last night, I saw a cop pulled over to the side of the highway. I was going 66/67 in a 65 (I do this because of the people who honk at me and I figure that I have the leeway to go 1-2 over.
This motherucker pulled me over for my βspeedβ and issued me a whopping 89 in a 65. I would swear on anything in the world that I wasnβt going above 67. I was in the right lane. I had cruise on. 89??? I havenβt gone that fast in my entire life. Furthermore, he pulled that # out of his ass because he randomly said βoh, 89β when I said well how fast was I going?β
I just do not understand. I want to file a complaint with this guy (donβt know if itβs a good idea). I want to go to trial, donβt know if theyβll take my word for it. I donβt care if he has a speedometer, there is 0% chance he has any evidence that shows I was going anything since 67. I just do not understand why this happened to me.
Are they trying to meet quotas? Is it because I glanced at him and made eye contact? Was that βsuspiciousβ?
Does this happen to anyone else?
There are plenty of great rivalries in college football, and I won't try to argue that this one is better than the Iron Bowl, or The Game, or The Red River Shootout Showdown, or any of the great historical matchups. BUT, I will argue that this rivalry game has something that no other game has: proximity. The two campuses are across the street from each other in the small town of Arkadelphia, Arkansas. If you are a decent golfer (I'm not), you could hit a five-iron from one stadium to the other.
This game is tied as the oldest rivalry matchup in Division II, with the first official game being played in 1907. It has been a remarkably even series, with Ouachita winning the last four games to take a 44-43-6 lead all-time. As you might expect, with such a competitive history and such easy access to the rival's campus by students from both schools, there is a LONG tradition of pranks - most harmless, some less so - during the week leading up to the game. In 1978, Henderson State aviation student airdropped thousands of red-painted marshmallows on the Ouachita campus. Henderson State students usually have a massive bonfire at their pep rally, and notable Ouachita alum Mike Huckabee once snuck over and set fire to it the night before the pep rally. Ouachita's homecoming queen was kidnapped by HSU students that she was friendly with from their days together at Arkadelphia High School. I once got a stern talking to by the local police department (who are always on high alert for this week) after attempting to cover the Henderson State bridge sign with purple tablecloths. It.... might have not been the most well-thought-out plan.
The Battle of the Ravine game this season should be another good one. Henderson State is 9-1 and playing for a share of the conference championship. Defending conference champion Ouachita is 8-2 and while a championship seems out of reach, there is still an outside shot at reaching the playoffs. Besides, denying HSU a conference championship is more than enough motivation on its own. Either way, just before noon on Saturday, state troopers will block traffic on Highway 67, and the Henderson State Reddies will march across the street to do battle with the Ouachita Baptist Tigers in front of a crowd that will likely exceed the total population of Arkadelphia. Go Tigers!
Just figured I'd share
HHK MP and former oligarch Alraghatsi Lyovik, who is wanted in connection with a burglary and assassination attempt, also possibly as a March 1st suspect, was earlier detained in Russia at the request of Armenian authorities.
He applied to receive a Russian citizenship. He has been living in Russia since 2016. "Everything is done, he is just waiting for the passport", said the lawyer.

So far the prosecutors have felony cases against 18 officials, and 24bln in uncovered theft, while examining the 2009-2018 North-South highway project construction.
Report says:
As a result of illegal actions by officials, the vitally important project was delayed for a decade.
Construction auctions were rigged to give the task to firms associated with auction organizers.
Officials didn't observe the construction process properly.
They wasted some money (at least $50mln) after borrowing $300mln from abroad and from state budget.
Money was wasted by knowingly dismantling good asphalt from Yerevan-Artashat section and replacing it with concrete. All while Armenia didn't have a production of cement suited for roads, and instead they used a cement meant for building construction (Dodi Gago intensifies).
Due to this mess, they had to spend more money to fix this cement that was later broken. The fix also wasn't done properly, while officials closed the eye on it.
18 officials are charged, 9 are arrested, 3 are out on bail, 6 are told not to leave Armenia.

Earlier Kocharyan got denied a bail. The case is in Appeals Court.
The prosecutors asked judge Mkhitar Papoyan to recuse himself.
The reason is because this judge was mentioned as being one of the judges who allegedly "made sure" Kocharyan was freed earlier this year. Whoever made those allegations was then reported by the judge to law enforcement "for lying". Prosecutors think the judge is too involved with the story before this court hearing even begun, may have predisposed opinions.
March 1st victims joined the prosecutors and asked the judge to recuse himself.
The judge confirmed that he is friends with another "pro-Kocharyan" judge, but says
... keep reading on reddit β‘Hey everyone. So 2 years ago I bought a house in Raleigh, NC. The house is about a mile from the highway and an interchange, so it gave me good access to anywhere in the metro. After I moved in my neighbors told me about the state re-doing the interchange to help with the ever increasing traffic. My realtor didn't say a word about it (no surprise). I looked it up and thought it was a good thing because the current design is just plain chaos and it would help alleviate a lot of that.
So fast forward two years and no progress has been made on the project, however the state recently released 5 different 3D renders of what the changes will look like. The problem is all of the renders have the highway and interchange moving into my residential area, effectively putting the highway in my backyard. There are some apartments and possible homes that will likely be eminent domained.
So basically I need to get out before they break ground and my home value plummets. This could mean 5 or even 10 years out for all I know, but I want to be proactive. The real estate market in Raleigh insane right now so my house would currently sell in less than a day (which is good) but that also means I will be fighting to get a home in one of the hottest markets in the US.
So my question is, how would you approach this from a buying/selling perspective? Should I take my time to find a new home since there's no telling when this project will begin? Does anyone have to disclose this? This situation just all around sucks and any insight would be appreciated.
Edit: looked up the state law and I would not have to disclose this
