I'm sure it's just a coincidence that the media is pushing article after article and op-ed after op-ed about people receiving CERB by mistake, CERB fraud, blaming the CRA for being unclear and the government waffling about whether those people need to repay.
I'm also sure it's not about redirected public attention away from corporations getting free handouts with no accountability...

Honourable mention should go to the CBC. Although they cannot be found on the search tool, we all know where their passive allegiance lays. In a FPTP electoral system, where the Cons actively try to dismantle them, the CBC has a perverse-incentive to give tacit support the Liberals.
There are so many newspapers in the US with what seem like arbitrary names like those in the title. In addition to those, I’ve seen newspapers called “pilot”, “sun”, and “standard” and many others. Where do names like these come from? They’re words that seem to have nothing to do with journalism pasted at the tops of respected papers and I’d love to know where the come from.
