A list of puns related to "St. Paul's School, Darjeeling"
Thought it was unusual and homely so I went in and asked. 40 quid... Thought it was a lot for a charity shop but then remembered I'd be paying 75 min for a decent bouquet so I got it.
Looked up the makers mark just now. 'Czech interwar pottery' apparently. After WW1 there wasn't much money for frivolity so in Czechoslovakia two pottery companies, Ditmar Brothers and the Urbach Brothers, joined up. 1919 to 1938, so have fairly specific dates. Some decent history in it.
What was going to be a run-of-the-mill, both-knowing-it-lacked-effort present, turned into something really decent purely by chance. Not entirely sure why I'm posting this, but it feels like there's a Christmas message in there somewhere.
Iβm shocked that weβre expecting thousands of students to flood into our school buildings tomorrow with the current omicron wave. My guess is that most districts will make the shift within 7-10 days. Why not just do it now? Save everyone the stress, reduce the spread of Covid that you ABSOLUTELY KNOW is going to start tomorrow.
Ugh.
Hello,
Just seeking opinions on St. Paul Lutheran School for Elementary School - do you like it? Are your kids doing well? How's the diversity of the student body? Etc. If you transitioned your child from a public school, how did that go? Thank you!
We're looking into relocating our family to St Paul. We've got 2 kids, one elementary & one entering middle school. I'd love to hear thoughts about the St Paul schools in general, but especially the ones listed below. Both kids are currently in a small private school, but it looks like the options for those are pretty limited in St Paul? They both read & do math several grades above level, so maybe a gifted & talented school would be a good fit? I found one in my research.
We've also only ever done private schools previously, is it possible to tour the public schools, and if who do you contact about that?
We're most concerned with good academics, but also a diverse and supportive culture. Both my kids have some neurodiversity and we want an environment that they will be supported in and not bullied. We also want to make sure that they are exposed to other cultures and that racism is actively countered by the community and staff.
Anything else we should think about for schools when moving in from a long distance?
We've researched:
Avalon School
Upper Mississippi Middle School
Nova Classical Academy
EXPO Excellence Elementary School
Groveland Park Elementary
Horace Mann School
Capital Hill Magnet School
