We've been hearing really bad reports like cancelling elective surgeries at BJC, but the news media never really covers conditions on the ground. The hospital utilization numbers we have seem unable to represent current change as a lot of the hospitals have been pegged at >90% utilization for months or a year now.
Look up at the ceiling vents, every time I do I see a sawstica and I need to know if I going mad or not

Sasha Betz, a 10-year-old patient at St. Louis Childrenβs Hospital, was able to hold a 3D model of her spine, thanks to St. Louisβ own 3D Medical Printing Center. Located at the BJC Institute of Health on the Washington University Medical Center campus, the center is able to print patient-specific 3D models based on X-rays, MRIs, CAT scans. Nothing excessive here, just a bit of information!
I got a ping for Little Caesar's this morning. I had nothing else going on, so why not take it?
It took me about 15 minutes to drive there because traffic lights in this city are dumb. Just before I get there I realize he doesn't have an actual address listed -- just a range of addresses, as though he used the GPS locator and didn't update it to a specific location.
I text him to ask what his address is. He calls me three seconds later and asks me to cancel the order. Why? Because he's a courier too, and he was trying to get pinged himself so he could get paid to go pick up his food.
I told him I'm finishing the delivery because I already wasted 15 minutes. Turns out, Little Caesar's was out of what he wanted so I had to cancel the order anyway -- I wasn't about to wait for him.
Bro. If you happen to read this: FUCK. YOU. First of all you're a complete moron if you think that trick will work and you won't get caught. Second of all, if you're a Postmate, you realize how valuable our time is and it's a really shitty thing to let another courier spend a quarter hour on something you didn't even want anyway. Third, why would you tell me to cancel the order myself when YOU SHOULD KNOW that frequent cancellations can result in suspension?
If I ever see an order from you again I'm reporting you. Sorry not sorry. You wasted my time, my gasoline and wear and tear on my car and you probably fuck up a bunch of orders that I should be getting.
