St Peter Upon Cornhill Puns

I managed to walk directly into a big crowd of people at the corner of St Mary Axe and Leadenhall Street around 9pm.

Someone shouted “Rolling. Masks off. Action” and 100 extras demasked and started strolling around me. Pretty sure I’m in that scene (the alarmed person still wearing a mask). Cornhill is full of movie trucks. A crew member said it was a shoot for Apple TV.

St. Peter looks at the man and informs him that Heaven has standards and to get in he must name one heroic deed he has done in his life.

The man replies

"That is very easy. One time I saw a women getting harassed by 4 big bad bikers. They were yelling lewd comments at her and grabbing her. She was very scared."

"What did you do?" St. Peter asked.

"I walked up the the biggest one and slapped his face and said if you want her you have to go through me you bastards."

"Wow that is brave! When did this happen?"

The man looks at his watch. "About 20 minutes ago."

I am seeking a good steak for a celebratory dinner. I knew I needed help when Yelp listed Texas Roadhouse as the 1 steak house in st. Pete's.

I don't care about ambiance, just steak. Good drinks are a bonus!

I won't get more specific than that for doxxing reasons; we live in your house now. Received mail from Europe addressed to you and there's no return address, so I can't just dump in the mailbox with "return to sender". (It looks like a nice letter/card. I can spend a few minutes trying to send it on its way)

The “Tower” (Inpatient Units) floors 3-11 are full of hard to place patients that the case managers have to place in skilled nursing facilities or inpatient rehabs. Because of this when someone comes into the ER they have a longer than usual wait time to get admitted into the ER. After that if you have to be admitted into one of the units in the “Tower” for further specialized medical treatment the wait time is much longer 10+ hours either on a stretcher in the hallway or if you are lucky enough a room in the ER. Once you eventually get admitted into the “Tower” you are faced with a care team that is critically burned out and understaffed, in EVERY department (Environmental services, Registered nurses, IV access, phlebotomists, physical, occupational, and speech therapy, and many more.) resulting in a lapse of quality patient care and delayed healing and therapy time. I am not only blaming just this hospital but the entire healthcare system is going through the strainer right now. But, Providence hasn’t taken steps to alleviate these issues such as financial methods of retaining staff or hiring agency therapists/ members of the care team.

If you are a patient or a family member my advice to you is to request a copy of the units daily staffing plan, which you have the legal right to request as stated in the Nurse Staffing Committee laws that were remodeled in 2017 in Washington State. If you feel your / your family member’s care is not adequate please complain to the hospital administration or spread the word that staffing is not safe at St. Peter Hospital in order to promote change in policies or procedures in order to promote a safer experience for everybody patient or care team member alike!

I'm not denying that there is still a lot we've got to look forward to with Season 3 of The Mandalorian, the Kenobi show, and other upcoming projects. And there's still lots to love from last year, like The Bad Batch, Visions, and The Book of Boba Fett. But there's still much we have yet to learn or hear about regarding some of the projects that have yet to officially debut or have an official trailer released. Some projects, like the Rogue Squadron show, have been "delayed indefinitely." And to top it all off, there has been little expansion or mention of the sequel trilogy in the past two years. The only real things we seem to have gotten are LEGO specials, but no actual animated or live-action series to truly expand upon the worlds and characters that were introduced or brought to life in the films. It feels like sequel fans are being left to sit in the dust with how there is almost no content to cater to them or expand upon the stories for Finn, Rey, Poe, and the rest of the Resistance crew.

Thus, I had been wondering if there was some way to somehow convince the current team at Lucasfilm to actually get some of these projects going or have some more information put out so we can get some actual news to look forward to. This had originally been possible with a hashtag to bring forth Season 7 of The Clone Wars, so maybe we could use something like this to galvanize positive support for other Star Wars projects. Especially for the sequel trilogy, if we could somehow convince enough general Star Wars fans or sequel fans to show support, we could show Lucasfilm that there is enough demand out there for them to push out sequel trilogy content that we are desparately lacking. My only concern is that such action might not be done in good faith, and that there might be more rage or anger behind the collective push for more content. I would like to let the creative team for Star Wars know that a lot of fans are clamoring for more transparency or news on upcoming content and for more expansion on the sequels, but I'd want it to be from a place of positivity and forward-thinking.
