A list of puns related to "St Andrew's Day"
Rockstar North did not skimp on Scottish cultural Easter eggs and references.
Did you know the cars you import at the docks in San Fierro (in the game San Andreas) would have registration plates referencing hibs, hearts, rangers, celtic, even Ally McCoist? True story, Google it.
These are just 2 examples of a long and convoluted, but entertaining list, of the instances where the Rockstar developers tipped their caps towards the people of Caledonia.
I only knew from the Google doodle to be fair!
/u/lip_feeler suggested here that, since Saint Andrew is an important holiday in both Romania and Scotland, we should celebrate it together!
On behalf of all the users of /r/Romania: Happy Saint Andrew's day everyone!
Edit: words.
Hello there,
I'm driving 'back home' soon with my partner, and we're staying in Shediac. We like to take day trips out to see different towns, often with my sister, and last year we went to Alma and the rocks. It was great!
Which should I pick this year? St. Andrew's, or Sussex? We like towns with a view, some shops or galleries, bakeries, pubs, and maybe even a brewery. We're in our 30s, just FYI. Thanks!
In the spirit of St. Andrew's day this week, what do you think that the police in Scotland do better than anyone else?
