The really interesting bit here is that Dragon Quest X offline is not included in this filing. Which puts a chance of localisation even further away.
I didnt know who to share my disappointment with and thought this could be the right place.
One year ago in March i placed a big order of 11 Items in the official SE Europe Store. Some of the items were pre-orders and i was okay to wait for the whole delivery as soon as all products are available.
When i placed the order, the last items should be available in July. When the time came the release date of some items was delayed by a month. And than again by 2 Months.. In December it was only 2 items that should be finally released beginning of the year.
A week ago i checked the website again and saw that also the last two items are available, but my order is still not dispatched. After contacting the support, they told me that other 2 items are out of stock.... But those were available between the placing of the order and now... The only solution they gave me is to cancel the two items so the rest can be dispatched...
I am really mad cuz i am kinda sure those two items will never come back again and as a collector thats exactly the reason why i preorder stuff... So i can get them when they are released...
Some will say i should split the order in the beginning, but paying 12,99โฌ shipping for every item is out of question... That the shipping costs are that high in todays times, where most shops offer free delivery...
As a loyal customer that spend a lot of money in their store, i would expect them to dispatch the available stuff and send the rest in a second order. Why they didnt put my stuff on the side so it cant be sold out?!
I dont know what to do now. SE just gives me the option to cancel the items that are not available. All this experience is pretty dissatisfing to me and i am really considering not to use the store anmore..

As it turns out, Square Enix for some reason shipped a debug/development build for Final Fantasy VII Remake instead of a normal release build.

This is probably one of the many reasons for the poor performance of the game, as debuggers affect performance. This is unreal, you literally can't make this up. The complete incompetence from Square Enix shines through as usual, but to ask โฌ80 for this half assed port is insulting.
I wanna to get the Nier Automata Mini Trading Figure for a long time. They are hard to find and can be very expensive on eBay. I just saw that they are available on square Enix Europe. I personally think it's fair to say that future parts of the Final Fantasy VII Remake being timed exclusive is a fair bet, considering the first part being timed exclusive and that timed exclusivity later even being extended.

On Square games and specifically Final Fantasy games coming to Xbox or not:

There were a lot of games shown on TGA this time around and some of them were from the notorious slut of the gaming industry Square Enix that readily sells its exclusivity to whoever shines a nickel.
This publisher has introduced 2 games to PC:
FFVII remake which after 2 periods of exclusivity with Sony now becomes EGS exclusive, so at least another year of not being able to buy it wherever you prefer on PC and a 3-rd deal of exclusivity for SE for which they rake money.
Forspoken was their second game and sadly SE will be losing a lot of money on this one because they weren't able to score any full exclusive deals and it comes out both on PS5 and PC (Steam) on the same date, hence they need some extra method of income to stay afloat which so nicely is shared between these 2 aforementioned games.
They are selling those games at $70 and โฌ80 (and I won't even stop this time on terrible regional prices). Perhaps, I just crawled from out of the cave, but that's the first publisher that I noticed who tries to push this 10 currency increase for PC.
When Sony preached about the new next-gen prices they spieled about new gamepad features, divine SSD, 4k at 120FPS and bla bla bla, now how does SE justify the $10 increase of the price for those games for PC's keyboard and mouse community who (apart from gamepad whose features aren't even supported outside PS5) already had those high-tech features? "Lol, FU" that's how.
It's up to you how to spend your money, but in my opinion, this publisher absolutely does not deserve your money.
Don't worry no spoilers , I wouldn't dare spoil this magnificent experience for any of my fellow players. To all those waiting in the queues of hours , to all those getting kicked out and trying to get in desperately , don't worry , it is absolutely going to be worth it when you get in to the story. Enjoy endwalker , enjoy th best expansion yet.
I also humbly request not to discuss anything in the comments that might that would spoil the story.

Edit: Yes I agree that it starts of slow , but trust me , you haven't seen all of it. You have to compare apples with apples , you can't compare the entire Shadowbringers expansion with the start of endwalker. Remember , EW has 30% more story than SHB, just assume that 30% is spent on building a slow start and continue the story.
I'm posting this here as I think this is a gaming model to be watched since it might be even worse than gacha, and because Square Enix has lots of gachas out there.
Honestly, Square Enix is already pretty bad in mobile gaming right now, their ports are often buggy and their gacha games are quite disposable (hello NieR) or way too greedy (FFWotV, FFBE), but today, a brand new year starts and they've chosen to go all out on not knowing their community and humiliating themselves to those who love their IPs.

Matsuda, Square Enix's director, released the letter above to say they're investing in new technologies... The main point of the letter being, you guessed it, NFT games. Yeah, do we really doubt they'll soon release an NFT game with a very beloved IP? I'd say I wouldn't even doubt if it were FF...
And he shamelessly went for the "decentralized gaming" approach, plus the text kinda implies they want their gamers to not have fun while playing, but to want to work for them and "contribute" for the community, which is pretty low imo.
Anyways, have a quick read and let's hope for their fail, because if gacha gaming is already predatory, imagine having to pay hundreds of dollars to even being allowed to play a game like a lot of NFT games out there already.
