A list of puns related to "Sportsplex"
Going there for my booster this week. Just curious to hear from those who went what to expect.
I didn't think it was possible, but after 15+ years of sucking really, really bad, the www.BellinhamSportsplex.com website has recently made the penultimate advancement to utter uselessness. I defy anyone to find any of the SHL league schedules and start-time for a specific team in less than 100 clicks.
After years of neglect of the amateur and adult hockey leagues, the Whatcom Sports & Recreation's (501c3) total distain and disregard for community hockey now manifests on the front page of their web site. Well played, soccer dweebs.
I'm looking to take my sprints indoors now and think the sportsplex could fit my needs.
I can't really tell from pictures but I do see there's 3 different speed lanes; but is there enough room for someone to safely do sprints? Do people ever do sprints here? Trying to get a feel for the etiquette regarding this, any runners that go here can chime in please?
edit: thanks ya'll. was able to verify sprinting is cool at waterloo memorial. cheers
Just got the email today. Is this at other city gyms?
Tons of spots open for today at Nepean sportsplex. Was helping a patient book through the provincial portal and found many open slots.
Happy pokes!
Just a FYI that they've added new vaccine timeslots for the Nepean Sportscomplex for this week (and possibly other locations too).
The location seems to be split on age, so it might not be visible to all.

Anyone go to this gym and have feedback?
Looking for a fitness center that offers classes and this place seems to have it all. I'm assuming it's a bit of an older crowd since the majority of the fitness classes are during workday hours..
Sweet tortoise shell cat answering to 'Charm' has gone missing, less than a block from where a coyote cat-kill and a tortured-to-death cat have been found.
If you see/find her, please, PM me and I will get in touch with her family.
I am really hoping for a happy ending for this one...
They are playing it on the speakers and I have to wait 5 more minutes to leave I hate it here
Hey, just wondering if anyone frequents Nepean Sportsplex for Lane Swimming. Iβve been looking to go but just wondering what itβs like in these covid-times.
Is it single swimmer per lane? How many swimmers are there per session? Are the change rooms overly busy?
I used to be an avid swimmer but Iβm 100% out of shape and a bit intimidated by going to a brand new pool in the midst of a pandemic (I just recently moved to Ottawa).
Thanks for your feedback π
I read somewhere that you don't need to book an appointment at Nepean Sportsplex for a vaccine. Is this true?
Access to the parking lot is controlled by city staff who speak to the driver before letting you in. Although they're wearing masks, they get close to the car and you need your window down to hear them.
Hi guys, I recently moved to Dartmouth and am considering getting a membership at the Zatzman Sportsplex. I was wondering if anyone knew was how the gym (weight rooms specifically) is equipment-wise? Iβd say compared to the other gyms in the HRM such as Fitness FX, Dalplex, Goodlife?
Just wanted to say thanks to everyone at the vaccine clinic today. Had my appointment earlier and that place is a well oiled machine.
Everyone was super friendly as well.
I look forward to my system upgrade to 5g soon.
Seriously though, as a high risk person this is a relief. I will still keep doing what I have been doing, which is mostly staying home, keeping my "bubble" small... but this will make me feel much more comfortable as I eventually will come out of my covid-19 world. I kinda do miss the camaraderie of being at a bus stop with 5 other strangers complaining about why the bus is always late at "this time of day."
Thanks again OPH. That was fast, efficient, and for someone with high anxiety, it was not as overwhelming as I thought.
Hey everyone, I know this will only be interesting to some, but the Jacksonville Icemen just held a press conference detailing some of the plans for the renovation of Jacksonville Ice and Sportsplex. Summarized below with 4 photos of the renderings.
Effective August 1, it will be known as the "Jacksonville Icemen Igloo" or "The Icemen Igloo" I have seen both
Construction to begin in August '21 and last 10-12 months.
addition of a 2nd sheet of ice
no disruption of service is planned, as the use of the existing sheet will be utilized while the new sheet is being built, and vice versa.
Rink will now contain: Fully Stocked Pro Shop, restaurant/sports bar with floor to ceiling windows to watch while you eat/drink, e sports area, complete renovation of the building and interior, Jacksonville Sports hall of fame

Title may be misleading, but I have a couple questions for anyone who's gotten their shot from Sportsplex / Any of the Mass Clinics in Windsor.
do they print that vaccine sheet thingy? The one that has your name and what shot you got?
do they book you / give a tentative date for second shots or is it still wait and see?
Thanks!
Good to see USA Sangat make moves on the business side of things as well.

Hi, I am trying to get my husband set up to play hockey again after a long hiatus. Does anyone know much about the various levels at Sportsplex or how the teams work? I'd like to do as much of the logistical stuff as possible as a Father's Day present. Will he need to pick a league to register for or does a hockey director do it for him after assessing skills? He's 40 so could be on the over 40 league but played pretty competitively in college.
Also, ideas on good places to get skates and hockey equipment? TIA!
Just want to know
