A list of puns related to "Southern Transitional Council"
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia extended a special invitation to the so-called President of the Southern Transitional Political Council, Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, to visit Riyadh.
On the other hand, the Emirati-backed Southern Transitional Council militias welcomed Saudi Arabia's invitation, declaring the speedy response to this invitation.
This comes after major withdrawals of the Saudi-led coalition forces from several areas on the western coast of Yemen.
Local sources said that the militias of the Southern Transitional Council of the Emirates has arrested more than 50 people, including children, who participated in the popular protests over the deteriorating living and service conditions.

A few days ago, Aden Governorate has witnessed angry protests denouncing the deterioration of services and the significant rise in food prices due to the unprecedented deterioration in the history of the Yemeni riyal.
The sources added that the Emirati-backed STC militias arrested more than 50 people, including children who did not reach the age of majority, after raids targeting their homes in the districts of Mansoura, Sheikh Othman, Dar Saad and Crater.
The sources indicated that these raids have been ongoing since the moment the state of emergency was declared by the leadership of the Transitional Council militias.
While a security source said, βThe security forces have directives from the leadership of the Transitional Council to end the protests in Aden, and to use all means to achieve this goal, including security raids against the supporters and instigators of the protests, in addition to communicating with the protesters directly through security and military leaders, As well as through leaders in the Transitional Council, to persuade them to stop the protests.
Last Wednesday evening, the head of the Southern Transitional Council, Aidarous al-Zubaidi, declared a state of emergency in Aden and the southern governorates, and called on his forces to "strike with an iron fist anyone who seeks to destabilize security and stability in Aden." He called on his forces not to tolerate those he called the intrusive elements in the Aden protests.
One thing I still don't get the answer to is, what is the ideology of the STC? The movement was a socialist one decades ago but what does it identify itself as now?

As part of a Saudi-brokered deal between the internationally recognized body and the Southern Transitional Council, a new Yemeni government was established. Yemeni President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi, led by former Prime Minister Maeen Abdulmalik Saeed, decreed the establishment of the 24-member cabinet, said Yemenβs official news agency. Foreign Minister Ahmed Awwad Bin Mubarak and Defence Minister Gen. Mohammed Ali Al Maqdashi were appointed. The announcement comes after the mobilization of military forces, in accordance with the power-sharing agreement, was completed in southern Yemen. The agreement, officially called the Riyadh Agreement, was signed by the Yemeni government and the STC in November last year, ending a month-long feud between the two sides to re-focus efforts on combating the Al Houthi militia.
The agreement provides for the establishment, except Al Houthis, of a 24-strong government equally composed of Yemenβs southern and northern provinces. As part of the Riyadh agreement, a Saudi-led Arab alliance fighting in Yemen began supervising the redeployment process earlier this month. After overthrowing the internationally recognized government and overrunning the capital Sanaβa in late 2014, Al Houthis, allied with Iran, plunged Yemen into a destructive war.

####June 2033
Our attempts to negotiate on your behalf with the Yemeni government have failed, with a complete lack of willingness to compromise on their side. As promised, we will be withdrawing all political and economic support for the Yemeni government. The US Marines will remain in Yemen for humanitarian purposes however all US forces previously ordered to protect Yemen will now be instructed to observe and remain neutral in any attacks against the Yemeni military or government. This includes the US Navy Expeditionary Strike Group in the Gulf of Aden, P-8 Poseidons on patrol and the squadron of F-22A Raptors in Oman.
With this unfortunate stubbornness from al-Makdashi, we will now be supporting the Southern Transitional Council's bid for independence. We consider this to be the best way to avoid further conflict and tragedies and work towards rebuilding.
