Recently watched the South Korean movie, Hope (2013). Really made me cry (the last movie that made me cry was Schindler's List a long time ago). I will leave Redditors to explore the subject matter of the film by themselves but I loved the role played by lead's father. Hope every father is like him!

[TOMT][MOVIE][200os] a foreign language film - (either south korean/japanese/chinese)

Trying to remember the name of a movie....
Any help would be greatly appreciated -
Years ago I was watching a whole catalogue of east asian cinema -

I remember coming across one in an article about "Top Feel Good Movies of all time"
I know the film was either South Korean, Japanese or Chinese cause that's all I'd been researching and watching at the time - I'd never SEEN the movie but had put it on a list of movies I'd like to check out - years later I'm falling back into that list and can't for the life of me remember what the movie was -

- I remember the poster of the movie looking like it had a lot of Green, like a family arriving at a beach with a lot of forestry, or a lot of trees,
- I first thought the movie was "Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter and Spring" but it wasn't that - but it sorta seemed to have that feeling -

- it didn't seem too old (probably not before 2000- somewhere in the 2000-2010 era maybe?

-I know it wasn't anime - (no Miyazaki) but a live action movie that might have had that feel -
- I dont DOnt THINK it had any magical realism, it was more of a straight drama
- i remember the article saying that this movie was one to watch if someone were depressed and just needed a happy light hearted drama that they could just put on an enjoy (i think the article claimed something like a 'relaxing movie you can have on in the background')
-for the LIFE of me I can't remember what country the film was from, but if I was a gambling man I'd put my bet on it being South Korean -
- i feel like it was about a family or group of friends going on vacation?

-any help/suggestions that could help narrow it down would be soooo helpful! Thanks!

MUST SEE the film "Call (2020)" On netflix

You will need to watch it with English subs because it's in Korean but totally worth it. Reminds me a little bit like Inception with its mind twisting action.

Easily one of the best films I have ever seen.

YOU WILL NOT REGRET THIS

100% Rotten Tomatoes btw ;)
