South Dunedin Puns

Obviously housing etc is on the table but what other creative or fun options could such a large piece of land be used for?

been using shrooms for a year or 2 now, wondering on decent areas to look and at what time of year for psychedelic plants (doesn’t have to be just shrooms) Just really getting into hunting, i know how to identify them and researched the bad mushrooms in my area. Just want some tips on when and where to go hunting in my general area, cheers :)

In Dunedin I think there are two odd roundabouts, both of which happen to be in South Dunedin.

One at the top of Andersons Bay road by the old smaller Countdown supermarket, which has 2 lanes that morph into 1 (and vice versa depending on where you have come from), and the one in question at the end of Hillside Rd by the Waterloo Hotel that also connects with Forbury Rd and David St.

The question here is, when traveling from David St to Forbury Rd, do you indicate right as you enter it (before obviously indicating left to exit on Forbury Rd), or do you not indicate and just indicate left after passing the Hillside Rd exit to exit on Forbury Rd.

You are at the blue ring, assuming nobody is on the roundabout and you're good to go...

To take the black arrow down Hillside Rd you indicate left, and go left, purple ring is free to go.

To take the red arrow and go all of the way around the roundabout you indicate right (to let purple know to give way) and keep it on (to let green know to give way) until you clear the exit before your exit and then signal left to go off and back up David St.

Now with the orange arrow, in your opinion do you....

Indicate right and travel past the Hillside Rd exit then indicate left and exit on Forbury Rd?

or...

Do you not indicate as you leave and only indicate left after you pass the Hillside Rd exit and exit on Forbury Rd?

So basically, is the orange arrow treated as a right turning exit, or a straight through exit.

Previous opinions have been close to 50/50 and watching traffic through there has been sort of the same (for the record a lot of right indicators don't even bother with the left indication when leaving hah) so I'd be interested to see what reddit thinks.

My fiancee and I are moving to Dunedin once the lock down etc has been ended.

We are in a super fortunate position after a decade of saving to be able to buy a house. Looking at the avaliable stock, and suburbs, I am most interested in th St Kilda region. I have read there are issues re flooding and crime there though. Could you guys please give me a heads up on what St Kilda/the beach suburbs are like?

We are moving from Wellington, so everything is Dunedin is affordable, but I love the thought of a beach side suburb with a beautiful villa, and an actual affordable rate.

Any advice or heads up is much appreciated.
