A list of puns related to "South Brooklyn"
Hey Friends!
LadyFixIt here. And it's time for food, gratitude, and empanadas... TONIGHT! If you've been feeling like making some new friends, hanging out in an awesome neighborhood spot, and having more empanadas than your mind can handle (seriously, these empanadas are huge and SO CHEAP???)... COME THROUGH! We'd love to have you join and hang out with us.
I set up a reservation for a group so if you shoot me a DM or comment below, I'll keep a tally for the restaurant and let them know who to expect! And so you know who to look for, I'll be the loud, happy one in the festive sweater with sparkles!
See you later!
Hey guys! I'm in FL and finally moving up to NY with my boyfriend. We're going to get a 1 bed most likely.
About me: I'm 22 with my bachelors in Social Work, I'm south asian, understand/speak some Spanish, love asian food /hispanic so much but it seems like in bay ridge area there's not much of that but its pretty safe. Our budget is 1700$.
Our priorities are being near subway, safety, groceries near by, and food options.
Things we don't care about? Bars, because we don't drink.
Any recommendations for different areas/ or experiences with the areas you can give me?
I haven't looked into bath beach or the surrounding areas yet that much.
His work is in downtown Dekalb area, so a place that can be close to there would be nice
Thanks so much
Update: Found a place due to your recommendations! Thanks so much, will be in NY in January!
What the title says. Looking for suggestions about an hour outside of Brooklyn for some freshwater action now and even thinking ahead of spring. Iβve seen some people get great pike on Passaic river in jersey, so I know thatβs an option but also would be willing to up to Yonkers-Westchester area if there some good rivers, creeks, lakes exc. any help would be appreciated (I go prospect park almost bi weekly last decade of my life and lakes in queens. Lookin for hidden gems right outside)
I had a buddy back out so Iβve got an extra ticket for tonightβs show. Doors open at 7. Iβm willing to give it to anyone that wants it. General admission. Must have vaccine card or negative test. 18+. I can send you the ticket QR code.
About Me: 32M, work in tech as a software developer, mediocre shuffler (and go to shuffle meetups sometimes -- I can teach you how to shuffle mediocre-ly), also very fond of rap
Things I'm Interested in Going To/Been to:
-Halloween: Cityfox
-12/3: Adam Beyer / Cirez D
-Defected Croatia 2022
-Just went to Anjunadeep for my bday and Hot Since 82 (my fucking favorite, he killed as always)
But if you're interested in going out on any Saturday, I'm down to go to a good event as I know that keeping relationships up in this day and age is about actively showing up for friends
Background for this post: I lived in Bushwick for 6 years and went out often there. Random nights at Jupiter Disco, House of Yes, weird parties on Johnson Avenue with hired cops as doormen, you know the drill.
When the pandemic hit and I found myself running 10+ laps around Maria Hernandez to get my miles in, I told myself I'd move near Prospect Park when my lease was up. I love my neighborhood now but every time I go to Bushwick I have to pay for like $40-$50 car shares. I figure if I meet some friends here we can share Ubers to Brooklyn Mirage/Elsewhere. I know I'm not the only one who has this problem! Enjoying parties doesn't mean you have to live on the L π
I don't go to parties as often as I used to but I def still want to go to big events and have some friends closer by even just to listen to music at the park with.
I think that's enough to start. This is a new reddit profile for me but I have engaged a lot with this subreddit with another username, you can ask for it if you want. [redacted]
Wishing everyone a safe and happy autumn in New York!
Hi there, and sorry if this has already been asked-- I did use the search function but could not find a specific answer for my question.
I'm looking for a good routing that can take me from Ocean Parkway in Brooklyn to Queens Blvd. Does anyone have ideas about this?
Thanks!
Anyone know the population growth of Hasidic Jewish folks in Williamsburg? I canβt seem to find it on google.
