The UCF-Memphis games have provided a massive ratings boost for the AAC. Last year set a record that I didn't think could be topped, but I'm quite glad to be wrong given where the conference is in new contract negotiations. I fully expected the SEC championship game to hurt the game's viewership, but it's likely that the timeslot helped more than anything.
Also the title is a cut and pate of the tweet, don't mob me for "Sensationalizing".

Renan Dal Zotto has announced the 14 players that will be playing the South American championship: Bruno and Fernando Cachopa; Alan and Abouba; Lucarelli, João Rafael, Vaccari and Adriano; Lucão, Isac, Flávio and Cledenilson; liberos Thales e Maique. Douglas Souza, Leal, Maurício Borges, Maurício Souza and Wallace are out. Douglas asked to have the time off, Leal has things to sort out in Cuba and Wallace is not playing for the national squad anymore.
