A list of puns related to "Sony Espn"
Half the time when we run the app on the TV the "ESPN" splash screen comes up and...just freezes. We have to reboot the TV (sometimes more than once) for the app to work. Then...next time we want to use the app...gotta do this all over again.
Anything I can do to fix this? TV is an XBR-65AH8, has latest released firmware, and we have two of these TV's and the app does the same on both. We've uninstalled and reinstalled the app a few times with no joy.
Thanks!
My HTZ9F Soundbar is connected to my X900H via HDMI 3. I have eArc turned off because it fixed some of the X900H dropout issues that other people have complained about on this sub. For whatever reason, the ESPN app will not let me play any videos/live games when the Speaker setting on the TV is set to TV Speakers and not Audio System. Does anyone know what is causing this?
As the title says. After I performed on update on my Sony TV (about 5 years old) the ESPN+ app has stopped working. It starts out very low quality, then within 10-15 seconds the quality gets better but then I keep getting green screens and lagging to the point where it just buffers. I have tried to use both ethernet and wifi. I have also factory reset both the apps and the tv. The app works in other tv's around the home (not android tv's) and other apps like CBS & Youtube work perfectly fine. Any recommendations or help?
Thanks!
Obviously, this is not a new discussion since other posters have brought it up before.
Major tech companies are buying up streaming services in order to compete with one another. For Example, HBO plans to launch HBO Max but also have Crunchyroll, a streaming service for anime, be on the platform.
Other rival companies, such as the Disney Corporation, have launched their own independent Streaming Service but offer plans to bundle other services for a discounted price. For example, despite ESPN Plus also being owned by Disney, it is not part of Disney plus and has to be bundled together.
My question is what Sony plans to do with Funimation Now and the number of titles on the service. Does Sony create a new Streaming Service (to replace the much maligned Playstation Vue) and have Funimation Now become part of the platform, or do they keep Funimation Now as its own service and offer bundle deals?
If Funimation Now does become consolidated, what happens to the individual customer's digital library? Where does Funimation go from here?
This is the middle tier plan, in terms of pricing:

For us, it will result in enough savings to be a great change. Not sure how they handle spillover channels for B1G games or SEC if they use extra channels. Any additional info, please share.
Impact fans in India . Impact One Night Only Night of Dummies now showing on Sony Espn, started tonight at 9 pm
With ESPN and Disney, the picture is constantly cutting out. More often with Disney channel. I have 250 Mbps internet and my Sony is hardwired, so I know it's not that. Wondering if I should get a Roku 4K Ultra to connect to my tv?
Is anyone else having issues with these channels on other platforms (Roku, Amazon Fire stick, etc).
EDIT: New episodes air every Saturday 7PM and reruns of the same episode everyday 5PM
Enjoy Iran v Morocco on ESPN with commentory by our very own Shyju.
The website now says "now with ESPN and Disney. " The Acess Slim package ($29.99) sadly now has both ESPNs (there are surely better ways to get sports than from the company that forced our former cable tv bills to skyrocket). I seem to remember these were not in there something like a month ago.
Also noticed there is a Boston CBS (WBZ) but an "ABC on Demand" and a "Fox on Demand" and same for NBC.
Doea this mean that only the local CBS news is on it or is it like CBS All Access? And the On Demand broadcast channels are not live because the local affiliates aren't participating? Can anyone shed some light on this? Thanks.
You know, the music that they play just before the sessions begin, when they're showing the score cards, etc etc.
