Europe wins
Lots of positive encouragement and not one single bababooey or mashed potatoes. I have heard a few get in the holes. On chips and putts. Good to see that not every American golf spectator is an attention seeking loser.
Karsten Solheim, the founder of PING, was a boss.
He founded PING as a side hustle while he was working at GE in 1959. He became a major influence in organizing the women's match between Europe and America- eventually leading to the first match in 1990!
PING is still a private, family-owned company!

I'm watching live coverage on the Peacock streaming service. It is annoying to listen to the constant drone from what I think is a small aircraft circling the event. I'm not sure it is the blimp/drone providing aerial coverage, or a small prop plane flying an advertising banner.
I'm surprised NBC doesn't have audio equipment that can filter out that distraction. I've never heard audio noise like this when watching golf tournaments.
Hearing the cicadas on some of the shots doesn't bother me, I'm used to those. :)
Flicking back and forth between the golf right now got me thinking about this and I think it'd be great and would also increase LPGA viewership.
Edit: There. Wow.
Anyone been to the Solheim Cup at Inverness and know if you can be dropped off and then picked up? I know there is a road closure but donβt know how close you can get.
I see on their website there is a ride share lot. I assume that is where Uber and Lyft get riders are dropped off. Could I use that to be dropped off or picked up?
Just seeing if anyone has been down there yet.
Has anyone brought a child under 1 to a golf tournament? My boy is 11 months and my wife and I want to go to the Solheim Cup. Wondering if this is a huge mistake in the making.
I can't find any info on the tournament site about kids, other than diaper bags being permitted. Does anyone here know if strollers are OK?
Iβm looking at the ticket pricing and really confused. Are VIPs the only ones who get to see it in person?
