A list of puns related to "Skiing Caption"
Reward will be 4 reddit coins and some thigh pics
This was almost 4 years ago, when i was 16 and still a high school student,
We were going on a skiing trip with school for a couple of days in Austria, and for some reason my dad bought me a pack of condoms, thinking I'd get laid or something, and I definitely did not get laid. Especially not after this.
And I thought it was pretty funny for some odd childish reason so i started sending people a picture of it like hey look at this haha funny condoms, thinking it was funny as well, like i was convinced.
And my autistic ass sent it to my crush too, who i knew from karate class but i forgot the caption, so she just got a picture of a pack of condoms, completely out of context.
She cussed me out and never talked to me again, and to this day i still have no idea why i was this stupid.
I don't think anyone knows about this, except for a few people. And it's probably the most shamefull thing I've ever done lmao
TL;DR: I sent my crush a pic of condoms, and she never talked to me again.

Go post NSFW jokes somewhere else. If I can't tell my kids this joke, then it is not a DAD JOKE.
If you feel it's appropriate to share NSFW jokes with your kids, that's on you. But a real, true dad joke should work for anyone's kid.
Mods... If you exist... Please, stop this madness. Rule #6 should simply not allow NSFW or (wtf) NSFL tags. Also, remember that MINORS browse this subreddit too? Why put that in rule #6, then allow NSFW???
Please consider changing rule #6. I love this sub, but the recent influx of NSFW tagged posts that get all the upvotes, just seem wrong when there are good solid DAD jokes being overlooked because of them.
Thank you,
A Dad.
So far nobody has given me a straight answer
I am currently in the hospital. I had a back operation yesterday. The surgical nurse came in my room and started asking questions about my back. She asked me if I had any falls during the last year. I responded just one. It was after summer.
She laughed and said in 20 years of doing this she never was told that joke.
..... Will get a reward.
Because they work on many levels
Kourtneys latest Instagram today with P and reign show them lounging in what appears to be a luxury bus or something, with the caption βlittle road tripβ
Iβm going to assume since it was a skiing getaway with Travis, they drove instead of flying because Travis has always disliked flying and because he had a near death accident on a plane and I donβt think he flies anymore, which is totally understandable (per his Wikipedia). I just read about this (Travis) so I got so excited about this Instagram of her showing sheβs being there for him in driving instead of flying.
Kourtney probably has always exclusively flown in private planes and jets so I think itβs great sheβs doing that for him. It will be so sweet if they keep this up, Iβm rooting for them like I think we all are! Just wanted to call this out in case anyone was unaware of the Travis rule of no flying. I could be wrong though about Kourtney not driving but all signs are pointing to yes! Also adding that their instas show they went to deer valley in Utah which is like 10.5 hour drive from LA!
This essay was partially inspired by ScreenRant's 10 Movies That Inspired Lord of the Rings, which goes some - but not all - of the way towards uncovering the influences on The Lord of the Rings. For one thing, it lists Gladiator as an influence, even though it was practically being made at the same time Rings was, and so couldn't have influenced it in any real way. It also lists Bakshi's The Lord of the Rings towards the top of the list.
I was also inspired by Doctor Jeffrey Swann's lecture on how Wagner was inspired to write his music dramas by Beethoven. One of Dr. Swann's (incidentally, a big Tolkien fan) main points is that Wagner was much less influenced by Carl Maria von Weber than we tend to think, and much more by Beethoven. The same is true of Jackson, Bakshi and Gibson.
The idea that the films were inspired by Bakshi is played up, unsurprisingly, by Bakshi himself, even though he had never seen the film: he bases his arguments on hearsay and on having seen trailers and pictures.
Of course, it IS an influence: Sir Peter Jackson only read the book after having watched Bakshi's film, although he maintains that he had "heard the name" of the book prior to this.
His opinion on Bakshi's film, however, wasn't all that high. He had "enjoyed it and wanted to know more", calling it "ambitious" and finding some shots (like one of Odo Proudfoot's feet, that he would then recreate as a homage) to be "great angles" that he "remembered very clearly." However, he also said it "didn't turn out that well" and that it was "kind of incoherent". He saw it all of two times between 1978 and 1997.
Says Jackson:
>I saw Bakshiβs Rings when it first came out and, at the time, I hadnβt read the book. As a result, I got pretty confused! I liked the early part β it had some quaint sequences in Hobbiton, a creepy encounter with the Black Rider on the road, and a few quite good battle scenes β but then, about half way through, the storytelling became very disjointed and disorientating and I really didnβt understand what was going on. However, what it did do was to make me want to read the book β if only to find out what happened!
Jackson had been adamant that his "film is obviously stylistically very different". Beyond the "Proudfoot shot", there could be a handful of other touches that owe to Bakshi:
Well, toucan play at that game.

Hi!
I apologize in advance this is a doozy. I (21 F) am a college student in California. I am having trouble continuing to keep a friend cut our of my life and knowing if it is the right thing to do. For this we will call my friend, Sarah. For context, I have had a small group of 8 really close friends since freshman year. I live with three of these girls and the other three live with Sarah. Last Winter break we decided to take a trip to Colorado, where I am from to go skiing. It was supposed to just be a fun trip before we got back into the swing of spring semester. I had some friends from high school also planning on meeting us at our airbnb. Right before our trip, Sarah had asked us all if we cared if two of her good friends, Cole (21 M) and Mike (21 M) could come for one of the nights we were there. We had all met them before at small parties and such but didn't really know them. There was more than enough room in the airbnb so I didn't see why not (clearly a big mistake). After unloading at the Airbnb we all went skiing and had a great time, mind you this is our first day there. It should be clear that there were four rooms in this airbnb, 10 girls total staying all three nights and a pull out couch. When we came back to the airbnb we made dinner and all decided to play some beer games and hang out in the hot tub. One of our mutual friends, we will call her Emily got really drunk, nothing serious, but she needed to just go to bed. After about an hour one of my friends and I decided to go check on her. Upon entering the room, we found Emily, passed our on the ground and Cole sitting on her in an unwrapped towel. They had been flirting throughout the night, but after we put her to bed we didn't expect to see anyone else in the room, plus they had just met that night. Shocked, We yelled at Cole to get off of her and go put clothes on, we didn't say anything accusatory, just that he needed some clothes. He left the room and we put Emily back to bed. When we went back out into the kitchen is when the real mess started. Cole came storming down the stairs with Mike yelling about how I was a "bitch" and if I didn't like him I should "just grow a pair and move on" he was "just trying to help Emily because she's a drunk mess". I am not the kind of person to just sit back when I can hear him talking about me like that so I stood up and said "Cole, it is nothing personal but the situation made me uncomfortable and I see no rea

Keep in mind, my son is 4 years old, so everything is an original to him.
I had to work late into the evening yesterday, and he was just going to bed when I got home. I had left home for the office nearly 14 hours prior, had a long day, lots of meetings, traffic, etc.
When I walked through the door, I was exhausted, run down, and starving. My wife hugged me and asked how my day was, and I replied, "Done. It was a good day, but has got me exhausted. I just want to grab a bite and go to bed. I'm hungry."
From my son's bedroom, I hear him shout, "Hi Hungry! Nice to meet you!"
Not only did it make me laugh, but I completely forgot about how hungry and tired I was. I went to his bedroom, and we laughed together about it. It was exactly what I needed.
Edit: Thanks for all the awards, kind strangers! I'll let my son know y'all enjoyed his joke too!
I heard parents named their children lance a lot.
