I love International Style towers. This is 1285 Avenue of the Americas/Sixth Avenue in New York. It has 39 floors and was completed in 1960. It was part of the western expansion of Rockefeller Center.

Looping Tunnels on the Sixth Avenue Line ?
Okay, so this is a bit of a weird question. I was on the southbound F train from Lex 63 when I noticed something curious. At 47-50 Rockefeller Center, we met up with the southbound B train. It was on our right. However, it disappeared for a few second and at Bryant Park, it turned up on our left. My question, why did it loop under the F train when it is the F that goes on straight to Second Avenue, while the B train turns right to access the Chrystie connection, meaning that it needs to cross the F train again ? Was this a historical relic from before the Chrystie connection was conceptualized ?
It has now been well-established that the first known person in the universe was named Ralph and he was a chiropodist on sixth avenue and had a little boy named Gary who was a punk-kid. There may have others before him but they were all named Ralph.

How come the D train does not stop at 14th St and 23rd St during late nights? I know it goes 6th Avenue Express but how come it doesn’t stop there during late nights?
