A list of puns related to "Sherlock Holmes Cat"
It's emmental, dear Watson.
Sedimentary, my dear Watson.
Does it become a pillow case?
I meet up with Sherlock Holmes at a Starbucks in Santa Fe, NM for a challenge and explain to him that he must guess or predict my phone password. He has 10 guesses. Can he crack it? He has general info on my likes, dislikes, shows I watch, etc. He has 30 minutes to research me online. Also no hacking.
I wonβt flat out say it but my passcode is the date of one of my favorite anime characterβs death. How does he fare?
Harris who played the role of Moriarty in the sequel Game of Shadows. However I'm pretty sure he wasn't yet cast in the 2009 movie. In the 2009 movie Moriarty is just a shadowy figure who had a grizzly evil voice prior to the casting of Harris but I'm watching it on HBO Max and now his voice sounds like Harris I swear this never used to be the case. Anyone got the movie on DVD or bluray or digital can confirm if I'm just misrembering?
How quickly would Sherlock Holmes solve the mystery of the missing children?
It is November 2019 in Winden. Police are baffled by the disappearance of Erik Obendorf, Mikkel Nielsen, and Yasin Friese. As a result, they enlist the help of the worldβs only βconsulting detectiveβ, Sherlock Holmes from London (modern BBC version).
How quickly (if at all) can he connect the dots together?
Basil's voice is how I imagine him when I read Conan Doyle. Nigel Bruce is my fav Dr Watson. But I love Jeremy Brent too.
All three Hound of the Baskervilles is a perfect movie for a cold, rainy night.
Elementary, my dear Watson.
I love the Sherlock series on BBC and was wondering if the original books by Arthur Conan Doyle still hold up over a century later?
If so what are the best Sherlock Holmes books to read to get into?
Edit: Thank you all for the wisdom and suggestions!! I will look into the books right away! :)
Hello r/PS5,
We are Frogwares, the developers of the Sherlock Holmes franchise and The Sinking City. Our latest game, Sherlock Holmes Chapter One, is a story-driven detective thriller in which you play as the young Sherlock Holmes before he becomes the worldβs most famous detective. Set in the 1880s, you arrive at Sherlock's childhood home in the Mediterranean island of Cordona to investigate the mystery of your motherβs death, and perhaps discover more about yourself than you bargained for.
Our game is coming to PS5 on November 16th but it is available to pre-order now if thatβs what youβre into (and if you do, you will get extra in-game content, plus the full version of Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments game for you to keep).

We are starting at 3 pm CET (we are from Kyiv, Ukraine), and we will stay with you for about 2 hours. And we will also randomly give out a code (or two!) to a random commenter as well, so ask away if you like to be in the running.
With that out of the way, ask us anything!
EDIT: And we are done! Thanks for joining us! We will answer the remainder of the questions most likely tomorrow. And we will reach out to the people who won the code(s). Thanks so much for having us - this was a blast.
Hello!
I would be glad if someone could help me out with the formulation of subtopics for my term paper. I already agreed on a general title with my teacher which is βSherlock Holmes - now & then: Contrasting analysis of the protagonist in the original novel and the show (Sherlock BBC)β. Now I have to narrow the topic further down to fit it on 8 to 12 pages which are predetermined, but I am not quite sure on which particular aspects I want to focus on. It is important that itβs not just a plain comparison, but also an analysis for instance on why there are different/ similar aspects, eg considering the image of a detective then in comparison to now.
It would be a great help if some of you would come up with a few ideas :)
I have to write an essay/paper about the character of Irene Adler for my English class, does anyone have any recommendations for secondary literature thatβs maybe about the image or representation of women in the Sherlock Holmes stories?
I want to start reading this saga but I don't know which "A study in scarlet" I must read. There are so many versions with different numbers of pages that I'm confused.
If you need a little dose of mystery to start the year, try Sherlock Holmes Chapter One, which came out in November. I havenβt seen any posts recommending it yet (sorry if I missed them), but it is a more complex/cerebral mystery game filled with snooping for clues!
I just got it this week, and it has been interesting so far. The Sherlock games have always implemented a few mechanics quite differently and the overall vibe doesnβt have the same charm as ND, but itβs a quality title in the genre.
If any of you have played already, Iβd love to hear your thoughts! Especially compared to how ND executes puzzles and narratives.
