A list of puns related to "Selling Sunset"
After watching Karamo’s guest appearance on Selling Sunset, seeing him buddy up to Christine Quinn and throw shade at the ladies on that show who have always appeared to be the kinder, more compassionate ones on that show especially compared to Christine, I’m seeing Karamo differently. It’s almost like a distrust or a suspicion of him, as he called himself Christine’s friend, and said he’d rather hang out with her and Davina who have always been the mean ones. Obviously it’s reality TV, but there’s a lot there that felt a little too real…. Am I the only one?
i cant be the only one that digs the vibes on this show more than the other. As a 22 y/o black women this is something ive never seen before and it really fills a void in my heart because I didnt know there were so many empowering black women in the community! I really appreciate it alot and I love how theres not as much drama and they actually talk about real world problems and not some petty bs. My favorite is definitely Anne! I relate to her sooo much! What do yall think ?
I’m just a few episodes in on season 4 and I’m disappointed and shocked at how Christine’s pregnancy is being portrayed. I have a one year old daughter and my postpartum experience was so different.
For the record, I worked out 4 days a week and walked 3 miles a day until I was 38 weeks pregnant. Genetically, I am very skinny- I am usually a size 0-2 in jeans and my ribs show a little bit. I basically do not have curves and my build is just naturally angular and thin. I ate healthy during pregnancy and weighed myself every week to make sure I was gaining enough, but not too much. My doctor recommended 25-35 lbs and I stayed in that range.
I had a healthy and active pregnancy, but I was still 15 lbs overweight with a pregnant- looking belly when I left the hospital. I couldn’t walk up and down the stairs more than once or twice each day because of the pain. I started working out when I was cleared by the doctor at 6 weeks and I still didn’t get back to my pre pregnancy weight until 6 months.
I’m so glad I didn’t watch this show when I was postpartum. When I saw the Christine character, my first thought was who took care of the baby while she got that much hair and makeup done. And then I realized she was wearing a form fitting dress with a completely flat stomach?! Even celebrities like Kate Middleton aren’t carrying newborns around with toned abs right after birth.
I hate when people try to act like if a woman just “works hard” and stays active, she will never look postpartum.

So racism and implicit biases are hot topics lately. We want to be sensitive to the existence of racism and implicit bias, while also asking that people are given grace and are allowed to comment on both shows. To that end:
----
----
Two Examples
Example of what not to do
OP: Colony wore a skirt that was too short for her open house.
Commenter 1: Whatabout Christine’s short skirt in episode 5 of SS, why aren’t you talking about that????
Example of what to do
OP: Colony wore a skirt that was too short for her open house.
Commenter 1: I don’t think so… She’s young, attractive and wants to have fun with fashion.
One of these examples stays on topic and doesn’t assume that the respondent is holding an implicit bias/racist.
----
----
Examples:
OP: Black women should hate this characterization of Black women as sassy.
OP: Why do Black people do this...?
NO! Bad!

Did anyone else notice the difference in reactions to divorce in both series?
Davina & Christine were so shady towards Chrishell about her divorce & there was so much shit talk behind her back. There was no unified support for her at all in the group, and seeing her leaving the wedding because of those comments sucked.
With Selling Tampa, Juawana’s divorce gets such a different response. Although some of the girls don’t love her exactly, they all show support for her & are so empathetic towards her. There’s tears and all of the reactions seem honestly so genuine. They all show up to her “ single ladies party” and no one talks behind her back in a negative way about this topic.
I am loving the ladies of Selling Tampa! They seem genuine and seems like whatever drama does happen in general is brought up in the moment face to face.
For those who don’t know, Selling Sunset is a reality show that follows realtors in Los Angeles and the surrounding areas. The show is about the houses, but mostly about the drama between the real estate agents.
For LA we get Simu Liu as a customer looking for a house with a pool and real estate agents throwing insane baby showers.
What would the realtor drama look like in DC? Who would the customers be?
And what are the selling points they use for DC and it’s houses?

Hey, so I just published a long article on the psychological games they play in Netflix's real estate series Selling Sunset. There is a way to make someone the "creepy outsider" that I call the: "The Sensitive Bitch Social Alienation Method".
There are 3 steps:
While in a conversation or social setting, give a comment that is:
–or hits a soft spot in the victim. Maybe a trigger that only you know about, perhaps activating some kind of trauma?
When the victim reacts and start defending themselves, you downplay the comment and frame them as being:
–and maybe even stupid.
The aim is to:
If they leave – out of being overwhelmed – you can now talk shit about them for the entire night without them being there to defend themselves.
You have also instilled fear in future opponents since they now know, you can do this to them as well. Increasing the social risk and cost of speaking up against you.
This can create a kind of “manufactured consensus” where everybody’s silence is taken as agreement with the bully. Groupthink sets in and makes it even harder to speak up. Since they know they will get the entire group against them.
The "Sensitive Bitch Social Alienation Method” – was used two times in the first two seasons of the show.
I will discuss each case in detail in the full article (link at the bottom).
The "Sensitive Bitch Social Alienation Method” is a social strategy designed to turn the “new popular girl” into a “creepy outsider” nobody wants to hangout with.
It helps a lot if the target is:
When a person is new – they haven’t had the time to form bonds that will protect them from this kind of attack. Basically friends who will stand up for them and fight for them.

... keep reading on reddit ➡I think we have had enough Christine this season. We could do with less or even without her. This show has so many good story line to explore (the other girls career, life journey and you know, selling houses) to waste the show time on the empty shell called Christine. Blink twice if you just need her for her party scenes.
Ps. Ew Robert. Eww Christian.
So I am a big fan of the show and have totally binged each season! One of the episodes featured a pride flag and it made me think... almost everyone on the show is white and straight. I know Vanessa was just added to the show and we have Amanza, but I just feel like LA must have more diverse real estate agents that are just as fabulous and interesting as the current cast!
This is not shade to any of the current cast, and I still love the show. I just think it's such a missed opportunity. Would love to see more of the LGBT+ community, people of color, etc etc. Thoughts?
Just binged watched both shows completely and I think in terms of comparing season 1’s selling sunset was more addicting I was excited for each new episode whereas with Selling Tampa I felt like it never really climaxed with me personally. I think their season will probably have a lot of improvements though.
With selling sunset I think I just love the homes more and the area they are in which is probably why I prefer that show more.
Now that I have watched them all I don’t know what to do with my life. I miss my agents
My favourites are Chrishell, Christine, Rena and Colony
I’m not a hoe I’m a winner Eat you bitches up for dinner
Get my gold Never quit Dear God who commissioned this shit
I can't believe we didn't hear about Heather's veganism this season. The editors had fun with her "But is that vegan?" pronouncements and spliced them into every episode last season.
How long has Emma been vegan? As beautiful as she is she looks prematurely aged and collagen deprived
I don't know if it is me but everytime there is a majority cast of brown women people give them this standard. It's funny how people ask about how many homes ST sold yet my white friend and I discussed how we can't even remeber when an house was sold on SS or to who. People saying Shirelle is so unprofessional yet Jason has dated two of his employees how is that not considered the same. There was no physical fighting even cursing they tried not to do and remember the brokerage is what an year old and this was filmed what in May maybe?I'm just tired of some women able to act foolish and its ok as soon as woc do it its like there trash. Also per what I saw earlier in post why is it that as poc we can watch shows with no diversity in friends satc etc yet when we make an show with poc now non poc don't watch it. I look forward to season 2

Here's the screenshot confirming Xur's Legendary weapons for this weekend.^Imgur
Here's a link to TodayInDestiny where I found this information
Get it ASAP! There are 12 perks in EACH column for Bottom Dollar. It's IMPOSSIBLE to get an Outlaw/Dragonfly roll of this gun. But Xur will be SELLING IT for 50 Legendary Shards and 1000 Glimmer.
Again, it's the only Void Hand Cannon in the game that can roll with BOTH Outlaw and Dragonfly. But if you're curious, here's all of HC's that can currently roll with Outlaw/Dragonfly:
Solar:
Ancient Gospel (Garden of Salvation Raid) - 140 RPM
Annual Skate (Legendary Engrams/Rank-up Packages) - 140 RPM
Arc:
Nation of Beasts (Last Wish Raid) - 140RPM
Waking Vigil (Complete activities in the Dreaming City) - 140 RPM
Void:
EDIT: Xur IS SELLING the Outlaw/Dragonfly roll. MWAHAHAHAHA
EDIT 2: For those who don't understand how RARE this roll is, here is a picture of the perk list that this weapon can roll with. Imgur
EDIT 3: Yes, an Outlaw/Dragonfly roll may not be the strongest perk combo in PvP and PvE. However, again, it is the only Void HC capable of rolling with this perk combo. So this post is for the players who love Outlaw/Firefly and/or Dragonfly HCs. I hope this was useful for y'all. Take care!
First off, sorry if this has been a post, I scrolled through and haven’t seen anything regarding it recently.
Anyways, what’s everyone’s opinions on MDL??
I’ve heard of the show, but just started watching. I personally love it! I like how it’s more focused on the business aspect. I feel like selling sunset is more about the girls with a side of real estate and mdl is about real estate with a side of work drama, not really any personal drama. It’s interesting seeing how the New Yorkers work vs the Californians. I’m from a small southern town so seeing these huge houses in big cities with all kinds of people is just so intriguing.
Overall, I like both shows, just want to hear what other people think also.
Was it a show that blew up during Covid?
Hi everyone, me and my friends are planning a Selling Sunset marathon for new year's eve and we were looking for some drinking game to play during the night.
Have you already tried something similar or have any suggestion?
Here's an article that goes over it.
I'm not an L&D nurse so this isnt exactly my area of expertise but uh.... sounds like a load of crap to me. An exciting story made up by an attention seeking celebrity.
First of all: why would a nurse ask the husband that, and not a doctor? And why would the HUSBAND chose? He doesn't own the wife or the child! And then she said that she was put under which... yeah okay I do know that happens. So maybe someone else can weigh in, but in my hospital we do not like to completely knock someone out during a c-section. Heck, we even encourage patients to do other surgeries while conscious (mostly minor or ortho) because it's been proven to be beneficial.
Anyone else think this story sounds like a load of crap? Mostly because of the claim that a nurse would want a man to pick who lives. I mean.... cmon....
Okay okay okay, I keep seeing so many posts everywhere about theories of where the music comes from on the show, so I’ll clear the air for some people hahahaha. First off YES, these songs are made by real people & not AI.. my boyfriend produces music and I sing and write and we have a ‘sync band’ together (New Perspectives). Basically we write and record songs solely for the intent to get ‘placements’ in film/tv. We typically have a song completed within a day or 2 from start to finish SO that has a lot to do with the unrefined sound most of these songs have. There’s NEVER a guarantee you’ll ever make a dime off of any of the music you send off, so it’s just not worth putting in weeks and weeks of effort or hiring mixing/mastering engineers for each song like something a legitimate artist would release. Once a song is complete, we send it off to our sync agent connections.. the middle man who stockpiles a bunch of ‘sync’ songs from various artists and then pitches whatever songs they see fit for the vibe of the show that the network they have a connection with wants. Once a song of ours gets ‘placed’, we’ll get word from the sync agency and there’s typically an up front fee that the network pays for the song that is split with our middle man & then we’ll also see some royalties much later on. As far as releasing the song goes, you can already have released it and get a placement, or you can have unreleased songs get placements too and release them later. For example, we only have like 4 songs released on streaming services, but over a dozen in music supervisors private libraries. I can’t speak for other sync bands in their songwriting/production process, but that’s how it goes for me n my bf :) We did have 2 of our songs placed in Selling Sunset this season in episode 3 (Gotta Have Ya, which was recorded in 2017 & Hit the Spot, which was recorded in 2019) Feel free to ask me any questions hehe <3
I’m surprised no one has made a post about her yet. I just wrote an essay about her, so please be warned this is long.
I haven’t finished season 2, but in the episode where I’m at, she’s engaged to a tech entrepreneur who’s retired at 35. Obviously very wealthy, looks wise eh, he’s not that great, but he also seems like a kind person who’s not a rich douchebag.
The show is very entertaining. They skipped over her dating and jumped right into her engagement, but how she met him was she was showing him a house and they dated, and he ended up buying it for them. As I was watching, I was doing a little analysis on Christine.
Career:
Went to fashion school in NY, interned at big fashion, got modelling offers, modelled a little. Ultimately she got her real estate license and works for the Oppenheim group in LA. The cheapest properties they sell are like 3-4 million dollars. Realtors make 6 figure commissions. I don’t know her work ethic, but if she sells 5-6 properties per year, that’s half a million dollars in commission per year, minimum. That’s. Baller. She’s married up but no one can call her a gold digger. Her income is wild. So when she buys expensive bags sneakily when her fiancé/husband is sleeping, that’s cute, not gold diggery.
Looks: She’s a stunner. She’s at the exact right BMI, no bones sticking out, healthy amount of fat/muscle in the right places. I loved all her outfits, so fun. I loved that she was the only one out of all the other girls who had radically different hairstyles everyday. Blow dried hair, braided hair in buns, a really fun ponytail with glittery chains. That last one was my favourite. She’s so interesting to look at. Her forehead is huge and her eyes are rather small for her face, and she has a rather round face, but she’s stunning. She stands out. (At the time of season 2, pre covid).
Edit for looks: Some commenters have pointed out her before and after surgery pics which I didn't research before I posted. They're very interesting! I thought before her surgery she looked sweet and like a regular person. After her procedures and hair color changes she looks cold, exotic and hard to reach/get. She or her plastic surgeon made some very intelligent choices for what procedures to get. I also think the procedures worked well on her compared to others because the rest of her realty firm has had procedures too and almost all are blonde, but they're still not as striking as she is.
Personality: This was interesting. In seas
... keep reading on reddit ➡Because on sunset they are just as if not messier and sometimes a little less professional ☹️
Just had a random thought about who from Selling Tampa would best fit in the Selling Sunset environment. I don’t only mean being a successful realtor, but also being able to cope with the drama and navigate these relationships.
I personally think Colony would be a good fit just because she seems calm and collected but also very calculated in how she presents herself and what she does.
It’s funny cuz I watched Selling Tampa first because I wasn’t really interested with the whole franchise but the black female representation got me intrigued and I loved it. So I thought if SS was anything like ST in terms of the qualities of what made the show great I would try it. And now I’m on like ep 4 of SS and the drama is wayyyy more! It honestly shocked me. There really wasn’t much drama in ST that went past awkward silence or sips tea vibes, so going from that to SS is such a stark difference. From Mary and Romain, Chrishell lying that >!she didn’t remember talking about Mary and how she probably pays for everything!< (which was annoying), and Chrishell spilling the tea about >!the baby!< then blaming it on the alcohol??? So much is happening already it’s kinda crazy ngl. I’m still gonna watch, but from what I can tell, on SS there’s more emphasis on the drama than the houses
what do you think about the new show and is it better than selling sunset?
