Gets me every. Damn. Time.
So, I've been watching Bones lately with my lady. We've been discussing D&D and Pathfinder, as I'm looking to introduce her to the game, and I was comparing and contrasting different alignments to help her make sense of things. As I'm comparing the characters on Bones, this thought strikes me:
Seeley Booth makes and excellent LG character, especially in the early seasons (2-5), and his job essentially would make him a knight of some sort.
Then it hits me that his faith is a major factor in his world view, and the idea for an older LG Paladin takes shape. I think his trust in both God and the System makes him an ideal example, even being an older character (40s), by which point many LG Paladins have either lost faith or died for the cause.
I'd love to hear your opinions on this thought, and welcome the chance to converse and argue my point.

Which pair catches the killer fastest?
A body has been found dumped in a back alley and three crack crime-solving duos have been called in to investigate.
Round 1: Victim carries ID and their identity is known. Cause of death is gunshot.
Round 2: As round 1, but victim pockets are empty (no ID) so their identity is unknown.
Round 3: Body is heavily decayed, obscuring both identity and cause of death, which is gunshot.
Bonus round: Booth and Brennan find a body buried in the style of the Gravedigger.
Jane and Lisbon find one with Red John’s smiley face on the wall behind it.
Castle and Beckett have a pretty blonde posed in 3XK’s classic MO.
The actual murderers are copycats imitating the styles of the villains, but does a personal vendetta against the suspected killer affect the outcome of any round?

So Bones and Booth are sent to Miami to investigate the "Bay Harbor Butcher". Can Dexter be caught and arrested? Assuming Bones and Booth, Dexter get all their resources.
Round 1: Before Dexter has his child and family really together. So maybe season 1 Dexter.
Round 2: Dexter has his family (Season 4).
Round 3: Dexter and Booth fight it out.
I see that people describe the "higher"/evolved expression of Scorpio energy as transformation, resurrection, regeneration, etc but.. how does that look like on a practical level? How does it feel like??
I know what less-evolved Scorpio energy/themes can feel like (at least, I think I do?)-- I've been thinking all day about how best to describe it, and none of it really hits the mark but the closest things I could think of: intense codependency, a wild honeymoon phase but.. dark lol, a huge endorphin rush, being absolutely enthralled and you literally cannot get close enough to the other person with feelings so intense that you exclude everything else about your life and responsibilities, stone cold power/control-hungry.
Other signs seem to make more sense to me (keep in mind I'm still a noob so could be totally off, if so please tell me lol I'm trying my best to sift through my own research). For example, lower vs higher Gemini as something like: black/white thinking that is counterproductive or outright harmful, vs recognizing duality and being empowered to choose to be in non-duality in a given situation or issue. I can understand the differences between being in a mindset where you're catastrophizing shit because of black/white thinking and it starts to snowball, vs recognizing in a specific situation (say, a disagreement with a friend) that there are multiple subjective experiences of truth and taking action based on that instead of trying to invalidate their stance by washing over it with yours.
Or Sag-- worldly, innovative, motivated to use it for the greater good vs acting out for instant gratification, self-indulgence. Someone passionate about something, devouring all of its knowledge and giving it back out to the world vs
"Evolved" Scorpio energy being things like.. rebirth, regeneration, transformation-- I can't conceptualize how this can play out or how the headspace would feel like. Partly because it seems like something that happens TO you and you respond this way, instead of you being the one DOING something?
Sorry if this wasn't clear, I've been fumbling around trying to put this into words all evening lol (and I also want to make clear that I do understand "higher" and "lower" don't mean any more or less value as humans, so I hope it didn't come off that way)

I wonder if anyone else shares my opinion here, but here’s something that bothers me throughout the series. Loved ones in the show referring to each other by their last names. Now to be clear- I don’t mean in a professional setting while working. But how Angela calls him “Hodgins” and Bones calls Him “Booth” even in times when they’re fearing for their lives or alone at home? Booth is shot and his wife calls him by his last name? Even calling Dr Brennan, “Bones” in a life or death scenario is still sometimes strange to me. You all may have pet names for your significant other, but I absolutely guarantee if they collapsed to the ground (etc) you wouldn’t run to their side and yell “Princess!” Or “schmoopy!” Am I alone in this?

First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
