A list of puns related to "Seattle Fire Department"
Hi, I just have some questions about the current culture and operations of SFD. Iβve been into a few stations to ask questions but always seem like I get watered down answers since itβs not anonymous and the firefighters donβt know me. I recently got a offer letter for a recruit class starting in 2022 after 8 years of volunteering and testing, so I know this is what I want to do, but wanna be as prepared as possible for some of the things that will be new to me. Thank you!
Hello r/Seattle! Thought I'd share a tool I've been working on building in my spare time. It tracks real time fire department incidents and has archived data provided from the city dating back to 2003 so it's useful for looking at trends. At the very least if you hear a bunch of sirens this should be able to tell you where they're going and why. If anyone has any suggestions I'm open to them! Thanks for looking.

It's a weekly occurrence. The fire alarm that goes off in flashing manner along with siren and everyone should be evacuating the building. It always turns out to be false alarms due to people most likely smoking (whatever it may be) in the building.
I'm curious how long Seattle Fire Department will let this go on for.
My concern is: it wastes resources, time and effort that could be utilized in the case of an actual fire.
I mean, one day, somebody will need rescuing and the Fire Department won't be going in there with any urgency like they don't right now.
Hello fellow Seattleites, I've been working on a web app that tracks Seattle Fire Department incidents in my spare time and I would love some feedback on things that might be useful for you all to see on it.
It already has a good amount of functionality and data that goes back to 2003 but I'm having trouble coming up with what type of stats to display and what would be most useful to residents. Thanks for taking a look!

I was chilling in Interlaken park enjoying the forest when a mother and daughter approached me to say that they ran into a man unconscious. I told them i would deal with it and went down to find a dude who seemed to be on the heroin exit plan. Called 911 and I was guiding Firemen and EMT lady down to dude 10 minutes from when I called. Props to Seattle Fire bros and EMTs who don't bring guns and don't put people in cuffs but still manage to solve problems and save lives.
