A list of puns related to "Scott Baio"
Adam and Bryan chat with Gina over Zoom about her recent positive COVID test. The gang anticipates Scott Baioβs appearance on todayβs show and Adam plays a clip of The Man Show where Jimmy Kimmel inducts Scott into the Man Show Hall of Fame. Next, Adam brings up a story about Lebron James tweeting an NBA announcer who made a very unfortunate mistake during a broadcast. Gina then reports news stories on: the deaths of Sidney Poitier and Peter Bogdonavich, the sentencing of Ahmaud Arberyβs murderers, the NFL maybe be getting rid of the Wonderlic Test, and Britney Spearsβ latest nude Instagram posts.
Scott Baio joins Adam in studio for a conversation about his career trajectory, from βBugsy Maloneβ to βHappy Daysβ and βJoanie Loves Chachiβ. Scott recalls his meteoric rise to teenage superstardom and shares insightful stories about his former co-stars including Jodie Foster, Erin Moran, Henry Winkler, and Ron Howard. The two then chat how Americaβs political atmosphere has changed over the years and they share their issues with the mediaβs involvement within the societal divide.
βGina sucks. But I have had a guilty wank imagining Adam fill her bum in his new Malibu condoβ
Sort of. I'm here to telling you you're pulling on push doors.
...oh.
I always thought it was weird the huge reaction he got when he first appeared in the episode where Jesse seems like he is going to resume his daredevil days from high school. Was he really that popular? I don't think so. He was sort of the low guy on the Totem Pole in Happy Days. And Joanie Loves Chachi was one of the more infamous flops in television history. I also never found him to be particularly good looking either (and he's certainly pretty nutty these days, not to mention a possible pervert). When he appeared at the front door, ladies were screaming at him like he was Justin Bieber.
Now Tommy Page on the other hand...
In the s4 episode, the writers have GOB make a joke about Tony Wonder being as straight as Bob Loblaw at the high school prom and that he βlikes them youngβ, which is supposed to be a joke about the fact that Baio has so many sexual assault charges from young victims.
Is there something Iβm missing? This doesnβt feel like something they would joke about, or at the very least something the writers seem like theyβd feel they couldnβt get away with without inviting criticism from viewers.
Are the charges like famously false or something to the point where it became a joke? Because they definitely would never have treated Tamborβs allegations like that. Iβm confused.
