A list of puns related to "Scooby Doo, Where Are You!"
I'll be honest, my expectations were low, mostly due to the minimal advertising up until it was days away from premiering, but still...that was rough.
I would've loved if it were more of a straight forward look at the franchise as a whole, but I assume they felt the need to add in a bunch of skits to keep children's attention. Really was let down though that rather than a tribute to the series, it ended up mostly being an ad for Warner Bros Studio Tours.
The best parts were definitely when they let people associated with the show talk about their experiences and what makes it special. Really enjoyed hearing from Seth Green and Frank Welker, (I think the highlight for me though was when Mitch Watson brought up how Fred obsession with traps come from his lack of a maternal relationship, it's always funny hearing about the dark themes of Mystery Incorporated in contrast to the rest of the franchise)
But yeah, I was a bit disappointed overall, which is saying something because, again, I didn't think this would be great anyway. When it did deliver on being a tribute piece, it really did deliver. Very curious to know what other people thought. If you saw it, what did you think?

In the original Scooby Doo series every episode features some kind of chase where the costumed criminal, masquerading as a ghost or what have you, chases Scooby and the gang around an abandoned warehouse or something like that. What exactly would happen if the criminal actually caught them? Would they try and kill the gang or something? It's not like they're actually a ghost or monster so what are they going to do? Produce a gun? And with that in mind, it's a big step up from scaring tourists away from an oil field to straight up murder.
