A list of puns related to "Sce Santa Monica Studio"

While I am still personally a bit annoyed this wasn't in on release day, especially with how bad I personally think the DLSS sharpening currently looks, this is a pretty quick response from them on this issue. Good to see that they are listening and are receptive to feedback. Most devs do far worse in this regard these days.
I'll personally continue to use /u/ellekz amazing workaround for God of War (and now their RDR2 one as well!) until SMS patch in the slider though. But it's still nice to know that an in game solution is probably coming.
from job listings and its pretty well known by now has been said before here. they have been talking alot about the order 1886.
since that team worked with RAD studios to make it. seems like there are some signs to an Order sequel.
even tho its very unlikely. regardless we're gonna see some second party collaborations for early PS5 games. that guy gio corsi that was working with indie devs now head of the second party team that has been created recently.
> A new AAA third-person action console title, based on a brand new original IP
from their frontpage at http://www.readyatdawn.com/careers/ they are working on a new third person game. they weirded it weirdly. "based on a brand new original IP". so its probably not the order. but its a console game. seems like if its a console game then it would be an exclusive no?. if its a multiplat. why would they say its a console game? maybe mention PC or don't say anything about platform at all?
I had a PS4 Pro and GoW but never finished the game (something about playing "publicly" in the living room I suppose.) Same for Horizon Zero Dawn and FF VII Remake.
Then, they all came out on PC and I finally finished HZD and GoW (GMGOW for GoW. Was playing FF VII Remake but GoW happened). I just like playing in my own room on a 32:9 monitor until 3 AM I guess.
Wasn't planning on getting Ragnarok but yeah finishing GoW made me glad I upgraded to a PS5. Can't wait to play it!
Also pre-ordered Horizon Forbidden West and this time I'm not waiting for the PC releases to play through!
You might think I'm flexing but I just want some PC-elitists and console-elitists in this sub to know there are a lot of us who own both platforms and are glad to have the option to play on our platform of choice.
Although PC is my favorite platform, I'll be the first to admit the best single player games are usually on PlayStation. (Cyberpunk 2077, a PC-centric release, couldn't make me feel what GoW did, for example.) GoW's graphics, combat, level design and exploration are the best I've seen in a game in quite a while.
So yeah, I hope Sony and devs keep porting their greatest games to PC (looking at you Demon's Souls which I have yet to finish too).
Not much else to say, this game is gorgeous and the camera angle is very immersive which makes constantly running or sprinting with mouse and keyboard counter-intuitive. We need a dedicated walk button like CAPSLOCK or anything really. Thank you.

For example, when Hermes dies he causes a plague to torment humanity. That doesn't make too much sense since Hermes is the god of thieves, runners and a divine Messenger. It would have made more sense if Apollo's death caused the plague since he was, among other things, the god of disease and pestilence.
Or Hera. She is constantly drunk. That would have been much more fitting for Dionysus, the god of wine who was well known for being drunk. But you could also say that Hera is drinking to cope with her depression. What makes zero sense though is that her death causes all plants on earth to die. Hera isn't the goddess of fertility and crops/plants, she is the goddess of marriage. It would have been logical to have Kratos kill Demeter since that is exactly her role. Demeter would have also made sense in the story, after all Kratos killed her daughter
>We couldn’t be more excited here at Santa Monica Studio to finally share our first real look at God of War Ragnarök with all the fans who have been very patiently waiting for an update!
>As you can see in the trailer, we’re picking up a few years after the events of God of War (2018). The freezing winds of Fimbulwinter have come to Midgard, making survival for Kratos, Atreus, and Mimir in the Norse wilds even more challenging than before. While the last game built an enormous amount of trust and understanding between father and son, there is still a great deal of complexity in their interactions – especially after the revelation of Atreus’ Giant heritage and the hidden prophecy only Kratos saw. Atreus is desperately curious. Like most young people, he wants to understand who he is more than anything. In this case, he wants to understand who he could be. The mystery of Loki’s role in the upcoming conflict is something that Atreus cannot let go of. He wants to keep his family safe, but Atreus also doesn’t want to stand by and do nothing while conflict consumes the Nine Realms. Kratos, still bearing the knowledge of his past mistakes, wants to spare Atreus the bloody lessons he learned from his conflict with gods. He wants to keep his son safe, above all, and their confrontation with Baldur has vindicated the belief that only tragedy will come from further entanglements with the Aesir. Together, Kratos and Atreus will have to make a choice about which path they will take. Whatever they choose will define the fate of all those living in the Nine Realms as Ragnarök approaches.
>Agony and Vengeance
>We show a brief look at two of the main antagonists you’ll face in God of War Ragnarök: Freya and Thor. Because of Kratos’ actions at the end of the previous game, the once-ally-turned-enemy Freya has sworn vengeance for the death of her son, Baldur. We wanted to remind players that Freya isn’t just a terrifyingly powerful user of Vanir magic, but also that she’s a formidable warrior in her own right. Enraged by Kratos’ evasion of justice by her hand, Freya will turn every weapon at her disposal towards her son’s killer. Also suffering the loss of his sons and half-brother, Thor’s legendary bloodlust and wrath will be aimed at Kratos and Atreus. Referred to disparagingly by Mimir as the “Biggest Butchering Bastard in the Nine Realms,” Thor earned his title as one of the most powerful Aesir gods by wiping out nearly all the Giant
