So often authors do a lot of telling rather than showing that the characters have chemistry and are falling in love, but Annika Martin really shows us in MEB. This book is a funny, steamy and sweet slow burn with the right amount of pettiness, heart-pinching angst, vindication and grovel. 🎶These are a few of my favorite things🎶
I feel like I should make the obligatory, “I’m not usually into the billionaire trope” comment. I’m only adding this to encourage those of you who wouldn’t typically pick up a romance with “billionaire” in the title to give this one a go. Let this be your gateway book.
MEB is dual POV at it's finest. Loved getting into Henry's head. Here are some witticisms and quotes I highlighted (you don’t really need context to appreciate them):

More Things I love about Most Eligible Billionaire:
- Enemies to lovers where the dislike is actually warranted (MMC thinks FMC is a scam artist who took advantage of his dying mother and he treats FMC very poorly as a result. FMC thinks MMC is a crap son who abandoned his dying mother.)
- There are tons of call backs - Martin paid attention to details when fleshing out her characters and it shows
- They actually have things in common and they bond over those things! (Not something I typically expect from the billionair
