I've read 80+ SFF novels in 2021, including re-reads. Picking favorites is a tough task, so I have ordered the top list by dates I read them. I've also listed honorable mentions at the end.
The book title links lead to their page on goodreads, from where I've also copied a portion of the blurbs for this post.

>Itβs difficult to find a husband in Regency England when youβre a young lady with only half a soul. Ever since a faerie cursed her, Theodora Ettings has had no sense of fear, embarrassment, or even happinessβa condition which makes her sadly prone to accidental scandal. Doraβs only goal for the London Season this year is to stay quiet and avoid upsetting her cousinβs chances at a husbandβ¦ but when the Lord Sorcier of England learns of her condition, she finds herself drawn ever more deeply into the tumultuous concerns of magicians and faeries.
Review:
I have read romantic π fantasy before, but I do not typically look for such books to read. As part of the 2020-21 /r/Fantasy/ bingo challenge, I was looking to juggle my books around to avoid more than one novella in my card. So, when 'Half a Soul' came up as part of HEA club and had awesome reviews already, I picked it up. I ended up using the book for Canadian square though.
This was quite a lovely book. Finished it in less than a day. Characters, setting, plot, pacing - all of them combined well to give a delightful experience. The banter was awesome and felt natural.
The prologue didn't catch my attention much, but by the end of the first two chapters, I was turning pages in a hurry. Lot of secondary characters getting their due and focus was another aspect that I loved about this book. In hindsight, this was evident from the first chapter itself, and this continued to be such a refreshing feature that it left a big impression on me.
Note: This is the 5th book in the Mage Errant series

Maybe even a few interviews with the old gang?
Here's an off the top of my head run through of the old G4 personalities (add the ones I missed please). I'll try to list them in order of how much they have remained in the public eye since the old G4 days.
Olivia Munn - became mainstream famous
Chris Hardwick - probably second most successful former G4 person. Turn on AMC, you have a 50-50 chance of seeing his face.
Sarah Jean Underwood - arguably was more famous before joining G4, what with Playmate of the Year and other Playboy endeavors. Haven't heard much about her lately, I think she has a patreon or onlyfans.
Alison Haislip - still has quite a big presence online. Lots of acting appearances, big Twitter following.
Adam Sessler - always remained known in the gaming world. Back as host on X-Play.
Blair Herter - big wig executive at new G4 apparently
Jessica Chobot - appearing in Expedition X on the Discovery Channel. (Also Mrs. Blair Herter.)
These others I don't really know what they did post G4. (Disclaimer: doesn't mean they weren't very successful, just means I don't happen to know.)

Hi everybody! So I gave myself a reading challenge based off the 50 states: For each state I'll be reading a work by an author born in said state, a poet (all native Americans poets. I couldn't find poets for a few states tho so I instead went with a native american historical nonfiction for the states I couldn't find), a fiction, a nonfiction, a historical Nonfiction, and a young adult novel. So in total I'll be reading 6 books for each state. It took me a good while to find all the books I wanted for each category but I've finally done it!! That being said, I had the thought that it might be fun to get another category going- suggestions or favorites from everybody on here. So would everybody give me their suggestions of their favorite books set in each state, or just books that you think would fit perfect with this challenge, please and thank you!! I added my list below. It's a long one!

Iβve been unstrapped and released from my embarrassment of a transportation method. I was given a small chance to take in what would be my new area of servitude. The mayorβs district wasnβt very big compared to the other districts just like Squeaks imagined. I could see the stone walls surrounding the entire perimeter from here. It gave the feeling that I was trapped in here, not that I was being protected. I mean I was trapped hereβ¦ for now.
The garden that covered the outside portions of the large mansion was manicured in such a way that it seemed simple. There was no topiary garden depicting animals or baby angels. Every bush, tree, and plant was uniform in shape. Those shapes consisted of finely edged rectangles and squares. The only color that seemed present besides the overwhelming amount of grey was the orange trees along with the occasional dark green of a bush. The leaves on the trees had turned an orangish-yellow color as they flew about on the air currents and littered the ground.
The mansion itself was something Iβve yet to see in this world. If somebody combined the idea of a nobles mansion and a military fort this is what the building would look like. The polished grey stone seemed to be the only material used in its construction. The building was probably about 4 stories high give or take and was as wide as it was long. The entire structure could be best described as βblockyβ. The overall design was s
