I just started working for this newspaper, but I don't know Japanese, so I'm curious to know what people who follow Japanese news think about the paper. I've read that they're extremely far right, but Reuters in 2018 described them as "conservative".
This, and their name ("economic and industrial"), has led me to believe they're analogous to the Wall Street Journal. WSJ has relatively unbiased straight news, yet their editorial page is a platform for the neocons and the far right. They break news on Trump scandals, for instance, but invite his defenders to air their thoughts in op-eds.
Is Sankei similar? Do they provide accurate reporting on theirs news pages and right-wing views on their opinion pages? Or are they so biased in their straight, fact-based reporting that you would consider them far-right or reactionary (like Fox News)?

195 foreigners on temporary release found to be on the run

On Dec. 16th, sources told the Yomiuri Shimbun that 195 of the 787 foreign nationals who were temporary released after being detained at immigration centers for illegal oversstay and other offenses and had lawyers or supporters serving as their guarantors are missing.
The figure is based on data for the past eight years through March this year compiled by the Immigration Services Agency of Japan.

Wanted to put a single thread collecting every record demon slayer broke. this will include both Manga & Movie along with some trivia.
Please be aware that this is not a full list. a lot of records might not be in here as well as Trivia. there has been an immense amount of them so a lot of them simply might not have been noticed/recorded by people outside of japan. Especially trivia like the one below.

First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
