A list of puns related to "San Ysidro"
Hi y’all. So, yesterday my sister picked me up from the airport and we shortly made our way into the San Ysidro Port of Entry. Upon taking our passports, the officer at the booth asked us where we were going and my sister cooperatively answered that we were heading back home to the OC area. I’m curious to know why the officer then proceeded to ask what we were doing “so far south” in a rather surprised, condescending tone as if traveling <2 hours away from home is an outrageous venture to embark on. I know that people from SoCal taking trips to TJ is super common which makes me question whether the officer’s question was a valid one or if he was just not having a good shift.
Stuck in line and didn’t realize there’d be any traffic. If I route out Uber to jack in the box on San Diego side, it looks super cheap and google maps says 30 min drive. Am I missing something or should I just take the Uber?
as I’m reading more about border crossings- I don’t have SENTRI but I have global entry. Not sure if that makes a difference in which mode of transportation to use to cross
Every-time I cross by foot at San Ysidro into Tijuana my uber app will not even load up and have to take a taxi. I have an international cell phone plan and everything else works as far as service. My uber app works fine as soon as i get deeper into the city. I rather avoid the taxi sharks that prey on gueros. Any suggestions or knowledge on this? Is it possible to walk at-least in the direction of Zona Rio from Av. Frontera to hopefully get some uber service? Thanks!
I have a flight to catch from SanDiego on Saturday morning 11am.
How is the San Ysidro pedestrian crossing wait time going out from TJ on Saturday mornings?
I am planning to be at the crossing at 7am. Is that good enough?
Also what address do I use for Uber to go to the border from Mexico side?
Hello everyone,
Beside Amtrak and Greyhound, are there any other economical options to travel from Orange County to San Ysidro?
I'm planning to visit TJ via San Ysidro pedestrian border crossing next week. I'm planning to stay for a week and come back. I have US green card and also original copy of my vaccination passport. Do I need RTPCR test while coming back to US?
Hola!
Next week I need to head to the border for some immigration shit and figured that Angelinos have experience to help out.
I plan to park and cross by foot at PedWest.
My goal is to cross into Mexico then get back to the US immediately.
Once I cross into Mexico via PedWest, where do I walk to cross back into the US?
I can’t find a definitive answer.
Thanks!
Estoy buscando un estacionamiento que rente un espacio fijo por mes. No tiene que ser exactamente en la garita, solo cerca. ¿Alguno de ustedes finos individuos sabe de alguno?
Edit: en Tijuana.
Which duty free store is the best (most options of whiskey and scotch)?
Hello, not sure if it’s allowed to be posted here but I have a couple leftover items from todays sale and will be delivering to anybody interested from Normal Heights to San Ysidro tonight! DM me for menu if interested!
Hi, a couple of us are driving to Tijuana/Rosarito for a few days. One of us has global entry/SENTRI and the other one of us (me) does not, unfortunately. Is it possible to ride in Sentri lane up until a certain point and then get off by foot to cross and meet the other person on the other side of the border? Any other suggestions? Thank you!
Feels like highway robbery. Many years ago I would ride with my parents back and forth between San Diego and Tijuana through San Ysidro. Unbeknownst to me, I have (2) SENTRI PASS violations for riding with them years ago. Yesterday night I got in line for what I thought was the normal border crossing. When I noticed I was in the wrong lane it was too late. They quickly pulled me over to secondary and told me I would have to pay a $5,000 Fine or my vehicle would get seized. My vehicle (2018 Dodge Challenger Hellcat) was seized because I could not come up with $5,000 on the spot. I tried to pay but my credit card bank placed a limit on my card. I asked for time to contact my bank but the officers told me no. I was then released and escorted to The United States side and left out at 2 in the morning. My vehicle was seized and I had to pay an outrageous taxi fee just to get back to my home ( Los Angeles) What are my legal options? What should I do?
