A list of puns related to "Sally Taylor"
Sorry if this is a spoiler but Iβm kinda not into Hugo anymore. He was genuinely one of my FAVORITES in the beginning but heβs such a wimp and justβ¦meh. At this point despite Sally being kinda manipulative and Taylor also being too in love with her Iβd rather they gave us the option to date her or Taylor if we choose. It just makes MC look sad/cringe at this point. I wish this was a little more like choices or RC and there were more branches to you decisionsβ¦
Has anyone done the meeting with Hugo, Taylor and Sally and picked where the MC says it's not fair to Sally?

First of all, welcome! The Deathworlders has been in production now for several years now, and is entering its final arc, but thereβs still plenty of story ahead of us, and Iβm glad youβre here to join us for it.
While I hope that the story stands well enough on its own, the setting (Also known as βThe JVerseβ) has often been a collaborative effort, building on the talented ork of other writers who have breathed life and detail into its every corner. Characters, species and concepts have entered this narrative thanks to those other writers, and while I have made every effort to keep the story coherent and readable without requi

Like Hugo was going to marry sally if it wasnβt for her growing some balls for the both of them and calling off the wedding. And then he comes running back to Mc like ummmm no Iβm not anyoneβs second choice.
I think Taylor and mcβs relationship could really develop into something cute. Whatβs your guys opinion?
So I matched Marco but obviously this also applies to his counterpart as well since they have the same story.
Does anyone else playing his story just finish every conversation like 'but why are we still here? What are we doing? Why are we still TALKING???' cuz I'm telling you as SOON as things didn't work out with Taylor in the first place I'm OFF and man still wants to be friends and have a likkle flirtation ting when he's getting married?? Nah I'm not here for it, I'm no one's side chick, I know what I'm worth π π Lol, I kid but really and truly this is the story that frustrates me the most like girl MOVE ON.
AND THEN the fact that she (I use she cuz I use she/her pronouns) would plot to break up their relationship that's next level disrespect and it makes me hate PC even more. Literally just playing it for the gems at this point but DAMN does it frustrate me!
Thanks for coming to my ted talk π I'd love to hear your opinions.
Iβm SO confused! So at the wedding sally was the one who stopped the wedding which kinda annoyed me again. If Sally didnβt say anything Hugo would go through with it, I canβt imagine him speaking up π And now MC has the choice between Taylor or Hugo but I thought Taylor is in love with Sally and Sally is in love with Taylor? What?π§π»ββοΈ
Crackpot theories
I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
Hello! So I'm not one for romance books usually but every time I listen to 'tis the damn season I think "I want to read a book about that"! I want that yearning, unfulfilled romance, going back to your hometown with bad memories vibe - does anyone have any ideas?
This month's book was Conversations With Friends, by Sally Rooney.
I hope everyone was able to finish the novel in time - please note that there will be spoilers!
I'll start with my thoughts on the book and then put some questions to spark discussion - but feel free to discuss anything about the novel that you'd like! Nothing is off limits but please be respectful of people who may disagree with you and be sensitive when discussing aspects of the novel that may be controversial or upsetting.
What I liked:
The novel had a clever way of slowly revealing things about Frances without her knowing them about herself - her father's alcoholism and abuse, her crippling depression and anxiety, her issues with money.
Having also read Normal People, I've gotta say I'm a bit worried about Sally Rooney - she's suspiciously good at writing women who are crippled by their self loathing in the same way that Taylor Swift is suspiciously good at writing about being in love with women.
I'd also be curious about how other people who have read both think about Marianne having a cameo - I personally found it a bit distracting, a bit like breaking the fourth wall.
What I didn't like:
Maybe I'm just more interested in women generally, but I found the Frances/Bobbi relationship infinitely more interesting than her affair with Nick, and I wanted more time devoted to it.
When I was writing notes as I read the book I found myself writing "I WANT TO SHAKE HER" and then just underlining it again and again every few chapters. I think I had a similar issue with this book as I did with Rebecca - I feel like the depiction of the protagonist's anxiety was very well done, but that didn't make it very enjoyable to read.
I found her narration incredibly stifling, it will be interesting to watch the TV show and see if the plot is more enjoyable when it is more detached from Frances' point of view. There was just something so frustrating about enduring a perspective so detached from reality.
I also found the self harm pretty confronting, although, as with most things I didn't like about the novel, that is more about personal preference than being something objectively wrong with the book.
In the same vein, I wanted a more conclusive ending, and it frustrated me that so much was left up in the air - although to be honest the only ending th

Murder House: Tate While definitely not being a good person heβs a good character. Super interesting and deep Tate might just be the most iconic character in all of ahs despite shooting a bunch of high schoolers killing a gay couple raping a mom trying to kidnap a baby and being part of the reason his girlfriend committed suicide. Wich sounds all terrible but it adds to the story. Asylum: Lana Lanaβs a badass who is willing to do anything to escape her situations. Love her character and she will always be an icon. Sarah Paulson did such a good job. Coven: Fiona This was hard to choose there are so many iconic Coven characters. Marie Laveau, Delphine Lalaurie and Madison in particular but Fiona really stands out. Smart quick witted deep and willing to do whatever it takes make Fiona such an iconic character. Freak show: Dandy It was so hard to choose between the two Phycoβs Twisty and Dandy but ultimately because of Dandyβs character development it had to be him. A true Phyco and manchild Dandy is a villain you love to hate. Hotel: Liz Taylor Once again this season there were so many Iconic characters like The Countess, James Patrick March and hypodermic Sally but it had to be Liz. A trans icon Liz is protective and feirce. Roanoke: Edward Phillipe Mott I didnβt watch all of Roanoke but I think I hear about his character the most. Cult: Kai A terrifying Cult leader this is some of Evan Peters best acting. I love his backstory and he is truly scary. Apocalypse: Madison I know Michael Langdon might have been more iconic this season but since Madison is my favorite ahs character of all time I had to put her. She was already an icon but with her character development she became even more of one. 1984: Montana No explanation needed Double feature: Idk the sea
I haven't played through the recent plot updates but I've been thinking about how it would be fun/an interesting addition to have a love triangle where you're actually allowed to choose who you want to go with.
Like I've said above, I haven't played through the recent updates and I know people aren't happy with them as they seem like forced drama but in a new match similar to Hugo/Marco(?? Can't remember if that's the right counterpart sorry!) it could be interesting if we would get to choose which one MC ends up with, as I feel like we aren't going to get that choice in any existing plots.
Idk! Kind of a ramble but I was just thinking about it! I'm always interested in things that give a bit of diversity to the story and make it feel like your choices actually matter rather than completely predetermined route.
Do your worst!
Hi everybody! So I gave myself a reading challenge based off the 50 states: For each state I'll be reading a work by an author born in said state, a poet (all native Americans poets. I couldn't find poets for a few states tho so I instead went with a native american historical nonfiction for the states I couldn't find), a fiction, a nonfiction, a historical Nonfiction, and a young adult novel. So in total I'll be reading 6 books for each state. It took me a good while to find all the books I wanted for each category but I've finally done it!! That being said, I had the thought that it might be fun to get another category going- suggestions or favorites from everybody on here. So would everybody give me their suggestions of their favorite books set in each state, or just books that you think would fit perfect with this challenge, please and thank you!! I added my list below. It's a long one!
