[Question] Wire winding on the bottom of the G string causing it to sit higher on the saddle?
My friend has a G&L Legacy strat and after recently restringing it, noticed that the G string is now sitting higher than the rest of them due to some of the excess wore wrapped around the bottom of the string causing it to sit higher on the saddle. See pics for details. Is there anything he can do about that?

Proper fuel for a long day on the saddle (roughly 100km)
So I am relatively new to cycling and in the upcoming few weeks I am attempting to go on a 100 km ride, I am planning to eat a lot of carbs the night before through pasta, while also having plenty of vegetables and fruits. In terms of fuel for when on the saddle, I am planning on bringing water, clif bars, and 3-4 gels. Is this sufficient, should I be bringing more?
