Specifically the original
I have pink gold peach (3) level 2, gilded pranced (3) level 1, and gift glider (2) level 1, and I cannot for the life of me get the last star! I can continuous combo the whole course and get 11-12k. I feel like I barely get frenzies to help and if I do it’s 1 every 10-15 races if I’m lucky. Anyone have any tips? I’m a “free” to play player, where as I only buy the gold pass so I’m not really down to spend tons of money for tons of pills.

I think it’s my least favorite course. Does anyone else feel the same?
I have been trying to get below 2:00 on Royal Raceway (150cc) using Roy > Biddybuggy > Roller > Paper Glider. My personal best is 2:00.165. After watching world record times, they manage to perform a umt at the first right turn which is almost impossible for me. What am I doing wrong and how can I pull this off to improve?
You know, now that Royal Raceway R has 4 different Coinboxers, I wonder which course has the most Coin Box Driver appearances, Spotlight bonus or not.
Here we all are with another weekly ranked cup, this time with the Yoshi Cup of the Yoshi Tour! This cup doesn't look like it will be too bad for F2P players, to be honest. But let's break down each of the courses individually.
Yoshi Circuit: Classic. If you're F2P, you will almost certainly be using Yoshi as your driver here. He's more common than Red Yoshi, and none of the High End Drivers seem to be overly popular to invest in. You might just have Yoshi at level 6 if you've played long enough. He's also in the tier shop. Good stuff so far.
For karts, it will probably either be Turbo Yoshi or Zucchini. They are both supers, and Turbo Yoshi is a daily select kart. Fairly straightforward.
For gliders, the parachute is the most obvious option. That's because it's a common daily selects item lol. But if you happen to have the Cloud Glider at a high level (which I do) then it could be a great choice as well. The other gliders all seem like unlikely options.
Choco Mountain T: Oh boy, there are a lot of options here, and they are all high end drivers. Hopefully you will have at least one of them. If you don't have any, this could be a VERY hard week for you to win. Chef Shy Guy, Aurora Rosalina, Explorer Toadette, Black Yoshi and Explorer Peach are all here. Then we have Nabbit and Sunshine Mario (Level 3+) who both have excellent items for this course. Swimwear Rosalina unlocks this course at level 6, and she, therefore would become the best option. But just hope that you aren't matched with someone who has that.
For karts, they are all high end, but the tier shop comes to the rescue with the Dozer Dasher. Koopa King and Head Honcho are both top shelf, and they are permanent pipe items so you may have one of those; they are also good investments, so you could spend tickets on them if you have to (Dozer Dasher isn't as good of an investment tho).
The gliders on this course are all high end, and only one of them is a permanent pipe item: the Strawberry Donut. The Donut was given as a gold pass gift in the Peach Vs. Daisy Tour, meaning anyone who spends any amount of money on this game probably has it. Same with Gold Swooper, as that was an old GP gift during the Ice Tour. This could be tough, but it is a Trick Course, so keeping combo is definitely not too tough with a second shelf glider.

They overtake me like nothing, every single bot has an offensive item, always there’s a single mf with Big Mushrom, they never use the shells on each other, so is like 100% sure they will drive front me and I crash into their green/red shells. I loose all possible positions when I get beat by an item, and half the time I am on 1st there’s my blue shell reported for duty not to mention that bots have a timer to use shells after my Frenzy ends, or the lighting thunder 0.001 after I break am item box.
I have Racer Mario lv3, Mk2 lv 3 and a top shelf Glider lv1, yet I haven’t finished 1st yet in 20 straight attempts.
Really, is not even fun.
Does anyone else feel that this is some of the most disgusting showcase of the bots being busted to this date? I know RR has a history for this but this is outrageous. I just lost a record run after witnessing a CPU dodge a blue shell with a mushroom. I can’t get wins half the time and don’t even get my started on the paywall. I just wanna hear other people’s thoughts cause this is ridiculous.
