A list of puns related to "Royal Mail Mount Pleasant Sorting Office"
Not only have I paid for deliver, now I have to pay to sit on the hand me down bus to go and collect my parcel. And as usual it's only open between the hours of 07:00 and 07:01, well that's what it feels like, and then to top it all off there's always a bloody queue!
This wasn't even a signed for parcel either, just tracked. As a result, looks like I will not be playing Forza Horizon 4 today.
Tracked parcel showing as being sent to Warrington for onward delivery rather than my local office (South Midlands). No updates on tracking since being scanned in at Warrington. But I still have to wait another week before I can make a claim.
Ho him! Maybe it will turn up...
They are also shutting down the two others in the area, meaning I'll have to travel all the way into town to collect things.
I didn't want to complain and make a fuss, so I went, stood in the queue and just said 'Hi, this one, please.. thank you' and left.
In my old house, my local sorting office was a 10 minute walk away, in a residential area, with good bus links.
Having moved a mile down the road, my sorting office has changed.
My new sorting office is in a business estate on the other side of the City Centre, is atleast 2 bus hops away, through the Centre's Traffic laden one-way system and is still a 10 minute walk across a deadly motorway sliproad, from the nearest bus stop. Conversely, my old one is still only a single 10 minute bus journey away, or a 40 minute walk.
Damn you Royal Mail.
This post brought to you by the polite but very overworked clerk at my local post office when I wanted to discuss an incorrect fee-to-pay notice. All sorted now, though I think I made the royal mail customer service phone agent have to google 'netherlands stamp codes'. (Last Saturday before christmas and the post office had just 2 staff visible, one of whom was assisting customers at the only functioning self-service machine.)
The Post Office opened at 9am today, and I went to post an eBay item. Today is Sunday 2nd.
Weigh item, select service to use (1st / 2nd/ etc.), pay for it, and only then am I told;
"Now, it won't leave here until Wednesday. The Royal Mail are on holiday Monday and Tuesday"
Make this make sense for me, please.
Posted my mobile phone return at the local post office, guy working there said they only did second and first class or second and first class signed.
I didn't think much of it at the time, assumed the first class signed was good enough, didn't realise they don't track it at all, looking back that was very stupid. Think he may have done it on purpose to nab it?
Anyone have any advice on my options from here? Think attempting to put in a claim for Β£50 maximum is my only option but I thought I'd ask anyway.
England btw
Thanks in advance
Should I escalate to PayPal or give it another few days ? Seller is in England so possible long delay ?
thanks all, I'll wait a while yet, thanks for replies
