A list of puns related to "Roy Halladay"
Thanks Ruben. Still his worst trade of all-time, and potentially the worst trade in Phillies history.

Heβs taken the MLB strikeout lead from Gerrit Cole with 179. He retired 22 straight, the first Phillie do it since, get this: Halladayβs perfect game. Give him the Cy Young!
Opposing pitcher Travis Wood threw 9 IP, 1H, 0R, 0BB, 8K. Phillies won it in the 11th.

Halladay was my favourite player ever so Iβm trying to mode my RTTS player after him. So far Iβve opted for a sinker, a circle change, a sweeping curve. I know Halladayβs repertoire was sinker, cut fastball, split change (that dropped) and a curve (that moved horizontally). Just looking for advice on what pitches in the show best match this in your opinion as Iβm new to the game. Thanks!
2 of the most iconic Jays superstars in the late 90s to 00s. How did the Blue Jays fail to draft and build a good supporting cast around Delgado and Halladay? How come they kept rebuilding for 22 years before finally making it in 2015? What went wrong? Was it because they drafted a lot of busts?
A Maddux, in baseball statistics, is when a pitcher throws a shutout of 9 or more innings in under 100 pitches. Writer Jason Lukehart invented the statistic in 2012 and named it after his favorite baseball player, Greg Maddux. He did it in September of 2003.
So I finally read that you can post funny stories in here. Iβm not sure if other people will find it funny but itβs a quick one. Iβm from the Cleveland area and Iβve always been a diehard tribe fan. So back in the day when you were actually allowed in the stadium for BP I was over in the RF seats watching the Blue Jays bat. One of their players warming up absolutely ropes a bullet of a grounder and I donβt think it bounced once, when it hit the ground it just rolled all the way to the fence. So as Iβm standing there I look down at the ball and it where it ended up was in the middle of Roy playing catch. So he walks over to the ball, walks over to the fence and heβs looking around to throw it and him and I lock eyes and he doesnβt look any further and tosses it up to me and I catch it. Well when I caught it my hands trapped it on the top and bottom loosely because I was a nervous wreck having a favorite player of mine toss me a ball, it was my first (and only) one. Right as I catch it I feel a slight bump and feel someone elseβs hands..this kid, in Blue Jays around my age (who was significantly smaller than me, I was a pretty big kid) ends up trying to catch the ball, grabs around my hands, and then rips it away. Kid looked at me with the fear of god and then RAN back to his seat. As soon as he sat down his dad yells βthis is my sons 7th ball today!β To this day I still have a skewed view of Blue Jays fans because of this incident. Hope this story brings a smile to someoneβs face, or the kid that stole that ball from me apologizes and confesses!
