A list of puns related to "Rosemary Rodriguez"
I know this is a story some of you have followed over the past two years. A landowner in Gregg County, Texas reported finding a car that matched the description of that belonging to missing woman Rosemary Rodriguez.
Investigators have said human remains were discovered inside, but it will take a pathologist to confirm an identity.

GREGG COUNTY, Texas (KLTV) - Search teams in Gregg County have confirmed the discovery of a vehicle belonging to a woman who has been missing for more than two years.
Gregg County Sheriff Maxey Cerliano confirmed that a vehicle was pulled from the woods Friday morning on Mount Pisgah Road, just off of Interstate 20 near Liberty City. Cerliano said the vehicle belonged to Rosemary Rodriguez, who was reported missing on Oct. 7. 2019. A landowner reported finding the vehicle in the woods on his property.
Cerliano said remains were also found inside the vehicle. The remains found inside the vehicle will now be examined before an identity is released.
Rodriguez vanished in Oct. 2019 with no clues as to what happened to her. Employees at a Kilgore Walmart alerted Rodriguezβs family after she didnβt show up for work. Her green Chevrolet with an Oklahoma University sticker on the back vanished as well.
On a cool Sunday night in early October, fifty-four year old Rosemary Rodrigues and her boyfriend, Curtis, picked up Rosemary's mother to take her out to dinner for her birthday. The couple of nearly a year stayed late at the Golden Corral restaurant with Rosemary's mother, Francisca, talking and telling stories. As the evening wore on, Curtis lamented that Rosemary's daughter and her husband were not able to attend. He seemed eager to see them as the last encounter he had with his girlfriend's daughter and son-in-law was not pleasant.
At that time, Rosemary had recently left Curtis, because he had allegedly become more and more controlling and jealous and paranoid. Rosemary stated he accused her of sleeping around on him, and not only that, but he also accused her of operating an underground sex ring behind his back. Rosemary vehemently denied these allegations and took some time to stay at her daughter's house to let things cool down. However, it wasn't long until Curtis appeared at Rosemary's daughters home demanding to see her. When she would not, he again allegedly accused her of operating a sex ring and cheating on him. Rosemary's son-in-law ordered him off the property, declaring him to be crazy and urging Rosemary not to go back to him. Eventually, Rosemary did.
Rosemary's daughter recently appeared on the Vanished podcast where she stated they intentionally did not go to dinner with her mother and Curtis and Francisca because they wanted to send a clear message: they did not support Rosemary and Curtis' relationship. It would ultimately prove to be the last opportunity to see Rosemary.
Back at the restaurant, staff had begun wiping tables down and closing sections; it was nearly 9:00 p.m. Checks were paid, and the party shuffled out of the establishment and into Rosemary's green 2014 Chevrolet Sonic. Rosemary and Curtis dropped Francisca off at her home in the Mt. Pisgah Rd area of Kilgore. Rosemary momentarily exited the vehicle to give her mother a hug and a kiss, and got back in the car. The couple drove away, and that was the last time anyone besides Curtis saw Rosemary or her vehicle.
Curtis admits the two got into an argument that night, and that she left him shortly after returning to his home from dinner. He said he briefly saw her the next day, Oct 7, 2019, when she came into his home in her work uniform to retrieve some of her belongings and her diabetes medication -- but that she abruptly left. He has stated he assumed she was le

Rosemary Rodriguez was a 54 year old woman who worked as a pharmacy tech at Wal-Mart in Kilgore, Texas. She has two adult daughters whom she was extremely close with. Rosemary was dating a man named Curtis Denmon who has multiple previous convictions of assaulting his ex wife. Although Rosemary had her own home, she had been living with Curtis for about a year at the time of her disappearance. Kilgore is located in what is referred to as the "piney woods" so there are many spots with dense trees and deep water in east texas.
Disappearance:
Rosemary was last seen leaving her boyfriend's residence on October 6, 2019. It has been reported that they had gotten into an argument, and she left. Nobody has seen or heard from her since. She was reported missing when she did not show up to work.
Updates in her case:
Her 2014 green Chevy Sonic with an OU sticker on the back is still missing. Police recovered her phone a few months after her disappearance but nothing has been released, or they did not find anything of use. In March it was reported that the FBI would be participating in the search for Rosemary. There have not been any updates as of lately.
Theories:
The most popular theory among East Texans surrounding the Longview/Kilgore area is that her boyfriend is responsible for her disappearance.
Accident: Some theorize that while they were arguing, Rosemary was somehow accidentally killed and Curtis disposed of her car and body.
Murder: Others theorize that Curtis is responsible for murdering her in cold blood, then disposing of her body, car, and cell phone.
Ultimately, Rosemary's family is desperate for answers and want to be reunited and see justice served if Curtis is indeed responsible for her death/disappearance. If you happen to have any information, contact the Gregg County Sheriff's Office 903-236-8400.

As is often the case in so many of the disappearances I write about, the information in this post is all we know about Rosemary's disappearance. I wonder to what extent Rosemary's boyfriend was investigated as she was last seen leaving his home. Frances stated that sometimes altercations occurred between Rosemary and her boyfriend and he admitted that they got into a fight right before she left. Police have not provided much information about the investigation except to say that criminal activity is involved in Rosemary's disappearance.

I've been meaning to write this post for a while, reflecting on my top ten favourite mainstream designer fragrances launches of the past two decades in particular.
Notably, I've tried to be a bit strict in formulating the criteria for these rankings. Firstly, I don't want to include anything discontinued; secondly, I've chosen to limit my list to mainstream designer fragrances specifically, meaning no higher-end lines a la Maison Dior, Chanel Les Exclusifs, the Hermèssences, et cetera. The point was to focus on designer fragrances that have had a broader impact, not only on us snobbish fragrance hobbyists, but on the fragrance industry at large.
Finally, as is hopefully obvious, these rankings reflect only my personal opinion and primarily include those fragrances that have resonated specifically with me. A great number of wonderful mainstream designer fragrances have been launched in the past two decades, so Iβm sure Iβve missed some absolute bangers. The long list included 30 fragrances, so it took quite a bit of whittling to get me down to 10.
Edit - I also have no idea how to number this list as a countdown, as Reddit immediately reverses the formatting, so, uh... pretend the numbers go from 10 down to 1, lol.
Tom Ford Black Orchid: Hard reflection caused me to put this animalic (borderline fecal) beauty at the bottom of this ranked list - just know that it beat out about 20 other contenders to make it to the top ten. Black Orchid is, of course, fully iconic; released in 2006, it swanned into the world like a heavy-lidded femme fatale in red-soled Louboutins, trampling a field full of inoffensive fruity florals to nab its place in the spotlight. To my nose, Black Orchid smells like lovers fumbling in the barn under cover of darkness; bales of hay and whinnying horses, heady white florals and dirty patchouli, dark chocolate melting in your mouth. Of all the bottles on this list, it is β in my humble opinion β the sexiest.
Narciso Rodriguez For Her (black bottle): I remember when I first smelled Narciso Rodriguez, several years after its release in 2003. I was 14, maybe 15 and immediately seduced by the bottle, a rectangle of glossy black lacquer suspended in transparent glass, like looking at something far away - an optical illusion. The beautiful fragrance inside equally captured my imagination; I imagined an impossibly beautiful woman in her thirties with an ash-blonde chignon and knowing smile, channeling Audrey Hep

What do I enjoy the most when reading reviews on Fragrantica, Reddit and Basenotes? It is the ability of the writer to describe the scent's history, reputation, allure and compatible dupes that has me adding the perfume to my wish board and equips with enough knowledge to shine in conversations with outsiders - all packed in a beautiful prose. This review is nothing of that. Instead, I will share my brief observations on fifteen or so fragrances that I had the pleasure of trying since falling down this rabbit hole in November.
How did it all begin? Pretty banal, with one thing leading to another, as they usually do. I decided to familiarize myself with those β25 things every man must have by age 30β lists to make sure I enter all prepared. This led to purchasing a safety razor, which in turn led to discovering artisan soaps and scents. From there the world of perfumes just was a reach away.
The modus operandi is ordering from discounters and keeping track of my impressions in an Excel spreadsheet. As I write this, thirty-one 1ML vials are on the way, but so far I have been really enjoying travel sized sprayers. I am also very fond of mini bottles that some manufactures put out. The ability to pop the cap and sniff the juice directly, without an atomizer, is a tactile experience reminiscent of alchemy.
Well, enough prelude. My impressions will be short, subjective and may force a real connoisseur to cry.
Versace Eros (8.5/10): A hypnotic scent. A lot is going on here, and the provocative title only helps the imagination run wild. I haven't worn this outside, pandemic and all, but this apple-mint-whatever mix feels like the perfect party scent when you don't want to smell like cloying cotton candy or bubblegum. I imagine myself in Amsterdam or Berlin, where people enter the club at hours that are considered to be last call here in Canada. I wouldn't daily this to keep it more mystic and catch myself occasionally opening the bottle to get a sniff.
Dior Fahrenheit (9/10): Another blessing yet something I see myself wearing on a daily basis. I am a pedestrian now, but this makes me want to buy a BMW with with black leather in M-Sport package, tinker in the garage and go out late summer evening. For me it is the scent of "making moves" in millennial lingo, but you may have other associations. Leather, gasoline, violet - I share the hype and wo

On a mission: John Cena as the eponymous βglorious assholeβ.
OUT TBC
At what point during The Suicide Squad did you realise you wanted to spend more time with Peacemaker?
I think I made jokes about it while we were shooting. I was a big fan as a child of [1979βs] Reb Brown-starring Captain America TV movie. So I imagined doing a very fucked-up version of that, but with Peacemaker, who murders people. His patriotism is a bit more fanatical. So I was joking around on set, and John [Cena] was able to do so much with the character. We didnβt show his background in the same way we saw Bloodsportβs or Ratcatcherβs or Polka-Dot Manβs. I felt there was a lot more to explore.
At first it seems like he dies in The Suicide Squad, but then a post-credits sting reveals heβs still alive. So is this entirely a follow-up?
The story completely takes place today, after The Suicide Squad. We see some of his background, but basically the story is all today.
Most people donβt fit an entire TV show in-between directing huge blockbusters [Gunn is currently filming Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3**]. Did** Peacemaker happen organically for you? Was there a point when you thought, βThis is a lot Iβm doingβ?
There were times of deep, deep, dark regret. Originally I was going to direct four episodes; I ended up directing five. I spent a lot more time on the show than I thought I was going to. There were times when I was not happy with myself and my choices, but it was all worth it.
If you could have, I imagine you would have directed all eight episodes.
Yeah. In fact, if we do a second season, I will direct all eight episodes. Jody Hill directed Episode 4, Rosemary Rodriguez directed Episode 5 and Brad Anderson directs Episode 7. Jody Hill was the very first person I called because when I pitched this to HBO I said, βItβs kind of like Eastbound & Down [which Hill co-created] meets Watchmen.β
Thatβs fascinating, because Eastbound & Down was anchored by a glorious asshole. Is that the same here?
I think so, yeah. I think βglorious assholeβ is a fair way to describe Peacemaker. You know, I write the characte

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
