A list of puns related to "Roosh V"
I used to follow him more avidly before I was Orthodox. He made his living from books on game.
Since he returned to Orthodoxy he has unpublished his books and seems to be taking his faith more seriously, but he still seems hung up on women and culture wars stuff.
If you take "A Dead Bat in Paraguay" without worrying about Rooshβs subsequent career itβs an enjoyable read. This is a sort of anti-travel book written by an observant and honest young man. The writing is uneven but there is some real potential there. Itβs a shame that Roosh couldnβt have written more along these lines - but books like this donβt sell, and he was determined not to go back to his career as a microbiologist. To make money he wrote the βBangβ series about how to pick up girls in different countries - and so forged his reputation as a controversial figure who would be banned from some countries for his misogynist views. His reputation was the victim, and his publicity machine benefactor, of the easily triggered outrage of our PC times.
There is a lot about how to bed girls in Dead Bat. In hostels and nightclubs from Ecuador to Brazil, Roosh and other young Western males scheme to score local women, with the less exotic but more accessible gringas as a back up. Having experienced this hostel scene myself, itβs hardly controversial or uncommon for guys and girls to have casual hookups as they travel the world, sometimes their free and easy Western values may clash with the more conservative local cultures. In South America the people are often more sexually conservative than their highly social manner would indicate. What is unusual about Roosh is how much he analyses and obsesses about how to pick up girls. He wants the algorithm that will get him as many girls as fast as possible. In fact, his first few months in South America are a total failure in this respect.
Dead Bat is not only about trying to score, Roosh is actually really good at describing things that most will experience along the gringo trail between Lonely Planet attractions. His descriptions of long distance bus travel are a highlight:
βWhen you ask the fare catcher how long it takes to get to the next city, the time he gives you is based on maniacal driving. Regular driving takes twice as long to arrive and just isnβt as fun for the adrenaline junkies that compose the bus driver corps. It didnβt matter than the road to Tena was this gravel and dirt thing that days of rain had turned into thick mud. I could feel the back of the bus sliding as the driver hurried anyway like he was rushing the President of France to an important diplomatic meeting.β
The first half of the book, when Roosh is in Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia is the stronger half. There is more a b

I used to be a huge fan of Roosh, I saw him as my older brother. Many of you guys might think. Wait man, isn't Roosh a hateful guy? It seems that he is now. However, back in the day he would give a lot of advice that appeal to young man like myself. For instance, he talked about vacations. Roosh thought vacations were a scam and that only men should try to live a "location independent lifestyle" than paying for an expensive two week vacation. I resonated strongly with his message since most of the advice out there was for women or families. Hence I felt Roosh was finally talking directly to someone like myself.
Top 5 Reasons
1-Roosh became virulently misogynistic
While I mostly ignore most of Roosh and his entourage and focused on the positive message towards men. I noticed that he discard his previous message and center in the "cultural degeneracy" narrative. Which involve getting into fights with feminist and with different social justice advocates. To me this was wasteful and served no purpose but to set back the movement. I felt that the whole purpose of the movement was for men to find freedom in the modern world, not to get in trouble. However, under Roosh's guidance many men were becoming targets of mobs and jeopardizing their well being.
2-Roosh became political, he started aligning civic nationalists and latter alt-right figures
This was the stage where I became less interested in the content Roosh was delivering. Most of the content was about "battling" against feminism than about helping men. Moreover, Roosh had a adopted a radical version of traditionalism where he wanted women to be certain way. He was willing to align with many questionable figures of the alt-lite and the alt-right to fulfill that vision.
3-Roosh seemed to be more into clout chasing than giving advice
I disagree and condemn many of the articles that Roosh wrote later in his career. I felt that once he started to write, he would say shocking and appaling statements to get media attention. Moreover, many time the Roosh V forum turned into a battle against feminist and social justice warriors. The forum become one of political activism as opposed to personal development for men.

However, the Roosh V fans at his own forum are not that fond of Benji. Over there, his behavior is called "weird and gross", he's called out for acting like an alcoholic, drug-fueled narcissist, a Jewish psyop, closet homosexual, what have you. I think the forum's private, so I thought I'd just share it over here.
But please don't share it with the Bears. Owen would totally not dig his wife's boyfriend's association with GAMMAS.
Edit: It's not entirely private: https://www.rooshvforum.com/threads/the-owen-benjamin-thread.35014/
He became religious (armenian christian): https://www.rooshvforum.com/thread-73256.html
Seing him talking about being "God Pilled" is something else.
He has an armenian mother and this change was related to the death of his sister.
American imaging scientist Katie Bouman was part of a team that uncovered the first visual evidence of a black hole that just happened to look like the Eye of Sauron. Some in the media praised Bouman's brilliant algorithm. Naturally, this caused some backlash from the dingier areas of teh nets.
As one person noted on Twitter:
> So here we are, with a thing many believed impossible (a picture of a black hole!) and the men who were members of the team have to write threads to ask people to stop sending sexist abuse to the women scientists. People, come on.
Noted Pick Up Artist Roosh V.tweeted how there was a deeper conspiracy in all this.
>The viral black hole βphotoβ was originally released in 2017!! The incredibly talented female superhero scientist with advanced algorithms merely inverted the image in photoshop. Yesterdayβs release is yet another globohomo psyop to emasculate men.
Those damn elites always trying to emasculate men. How does "emasculating men" benefit the "elite"? What is this "globohomo psyops"? Is it run by George Soros? The very same George Soros who spent tens of millions of his own money to end communism and socialism in Eastern Europe so he could sell more product? That neo-liberal, anti-marxist, George Soros? The Same George Soros Fox News talks about all the time?
