A list of puns related to "Ron Reagan"
A fresh version of an iconic Freedom From Religion Foundation ad featuring Ron Reagan is set to premier on Rachel Maddowβs and Stephen Colbertβs highly watched shows.
The updated spot, in which the βunabashed atheistβ is still notably βnot afraid of burning in hell,βΒ will debut on MSNBCβs βRachel Maddow Show.β The ad is slated to run six times, starting Tuesday, Sept. 7, through Thursday, Sept. 9, and then from Tuesday, Sept. 14, through Thursday, Sept. 16.
The new 30-second spot will also appear six times on βThe Late Show with Stephen Colbert,β on CBS nationally, from Tuesday, Sept. 20, through Thursday, Sept. 22, and the week after from Tuesday, Sept. 28, through Thursday, Sept. 30.
This year is the first year that the CBS national network has accepted the ad.
From an interview conducted for the American Experience episode about Ronald Reagan.
When I drive my 2 year old son around, I'll put on music for him and CONAF for me (using earbuds due to occasional language).
While I was driving him home yesterday, I forgot to put in my earbuds. I risk it and put on the next episode, Ron Reagan. If you haven't heard, it has the most somber opening to any episode yet due to the Capitol insurrection happening the day before. Having a political figure on the show, I figured I had nothing to worry about with the language. If any episode were to be free of language, this must be it, right?
Well if you've heard the podcast, you've known where this was going for a while. About 5mins into the episode, Conan and Ron have what one might mistake for a swearing contest where they constantly egg each other on, getting worse and worse with the cursing.
I should've stopped at the first F bomb. After the second, it's just a barrage, and I had to quickly turn it off. Which is a shame, because I was really enjoying it. And I couldn't laugh unless I wanted my kid to pick up some new choice words.
Anyway, I thought it was kinda funny. Hope this was worth reading. I look forward to picking up the episode where I left off soon.
This is the best tl;dr I could make, original reduced by 72%. (I'm a bot)
> As the son of the late Ronald Reagan, Ron Reagan certainly knows something about the role of adult children in a president's political life and administration.
> Reagan also goes further when asked what he thinks about Donald Trump giving his daughter, Ivanka Trump, and son-in-law, Jared Kushner, jobs as senior advisers in his administration.
> The non-partisan watchdog group Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics has documented multiple instances of potentially unethical conduct and conflicts of interest by Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, the Daily Beast reported.
> CREW's Executive Director Noah Bookbinder explained in 2019: "Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner have continued to conduct themselves in ways that create a real possibility that they are capitalizing on their roles as government officials to enrich themselves."
> More recently, he has called Trump "a traitorous president who is betraying his country." In a 2020 interview with the Daily Beast, Reagan said his father would not want Republicans voting for Trump.
> Reagan repeated these sentiments about the Republican party in his interview with CNN, saying his father would be "Horrified" by what the party has become under the leadership of Trump.
