Germany, France, and the UK are the key markets for eVTOL aircraft in Europe. However, the market growth rate in this region will be slower than the growth of the market in APAC. The increased investment in commercial drones and eVTOL aircraft by Western European countries such as the UK, Germany, France, Spain, and Italy will facilitate the eVTOL aircraft market growth in Europe over the forecast period. The eVTOL aircraft market is expected to grow by USD 3.66 billion from 2021 to 2026 at a CAGR of 35.74% as per the latest report by Technavio.
eVTOL Aircraft Market - Driver
The eVTOL aircraft market is exercising a positive growth mainly because of the increase in the global urban population followed by traffic congestion. The demand for efficient and effective mobility in urban areas is a crucial challenge. There are many companies and municipal corporations currently working on eVTOL aircraft manufacturing for air mobility solutions. For instance, Japan's SkyDrive and Volocopter plans to commercialize eVTOL in Japan by 2023. Also, the companies such as Bell Textron, in February 2020 announced that they are partnering with Japan Airlines and Sumitomo Corporation to explore the development of an on-demand air mobility ecosystem in Japan using Bell's Nexus 4EX eVTOL air taxi. These advancements may lead to an increase in the demand for eVTOL aircraft services in the global market.
eVTOL Aircraft Market - Challenge
The key factor that can restrain the market of eVTOL aircraft globally is the high investments in infrastructure and research and development and lack of 5G infrastructure across the globe. These have the potential to revolutionize urban and regional transport through reduced travel times and improved mobility options. However, as the size of the aircraft increases, the cost increases. Commercialization efforts are backed by material investments in the industry. Earlier in January 2021, Toyota led a $394 million investment in Joby; Volocopter attracted a $113 million investment, and China-based EHang's IPO valuation was $650 million. The first commercial passenger flight is likely to launch within the next three to five years with piloted aircraft before transitioning to remotely piloted operations.
The Rockets are 48 for 191 (25.1%) on midrange shots.
They have 4 players who have taken 10+ midrange shots, and they're all at 30% or worse:
Wood, 9 for 46 (20%)
Green, 12 for 40 (30%)
Porter, 10 for 36 (28%)
Theis, 3 for 14 (21%)
The next worst team is the Pistons, who are shooting 34.9%. The Pistons are closer to the 3rd place Bulls (44.2%) than they are to the Rockets.
The Rockets shot 152 for 494 (30.8%) on midrange shots last season, which was the worst percentage of any team since the NBA started tracking shots in the 1996-1997 season.
Hi all. Most of you don't know me but I occasionally post rocket datasheets on this subreddit to give a better perspective of the current state of the launch industry. With the last rocket launch happening a few hours ago from China barring an unexpected launch, all rockets that would fly in 2021 have already flown. So what's left to do? Analyze the data of course!
This year was absolutely record-shattering in so many ways ranging from crewed launches to raw rockets launched, to raw kg launched to days spent in space by all humans. The major players leading to this rise is SpaceX and China in the raw rockets and kg launched, and Virgin Galactic and Blue Origin in the amount of crewed launches and. Lastly in the rise in total days spent in space by humans in space the Crew Dragon is largely responsible as it delivers 4 astronauts instead of 3 to the international space station. In addition, China's new space station (Tiangong) has played an immense role as 6 new astronauts were racking up days this year. Of course, the data goes so much deeper than the surface-level analysis I gave. If you want to analyze it for yourself please click on the link below.

Another way to analyze launches in 2021 is to break down which rockets/countries actually launched the most to make this year so record breaking. I have included a huge datasheet for every rocket flown in the past few years for metrics such as the amount of times flown this year and $/kg. The second tab includes a pie chart for the amount of launches from each country this year. Lastly, the third tab has a pie chart for the kg launched by each country this year.

The general theme here is that China is increasingly becoming a dominant player in raw launches as it leads America by a 3% margin. However, due to the fact that America uses for larger rockets on average, it launches almost 2 times as much raw cargo to space which I would argue is more important. Of course, this is possible due to the recent rise of SpaceX and how there is an increase of launches from them due to Starlink.

What's even funnier is that Stephen Silas himself was one of the top assistant coaches for that horrid Bobcats team too
The Silas family can't catch a break

FY2021 (ended June 2021) revenue of $175M beat our estimate by 23%. Adjusted EBITDA ($69M) beat our estimate by 8%. Trading volume was up 64%, and funded accounts were up 143% QoQ in Q4.
We believe VOYGβs strategy to offer rewards to users is paying off, as conversion (verified to funded accounts) increased 11 pp QoQ to 40% by the end of Q4. Although VOYGβs EBITDA margins are lower than COIN (38% vs 50%), we believe this strategy will result in a stronger growth in user-base.
Entered into a five-year partnership with Mark Cuban's Dallas Mavericks. The company is planning to ramp up marketing initiatives.
As trading individual cryptos can be highly risky, we believe exchanges/brokerages (such as VOYG) offer a lower-risk alternative for exposure to cryptos.
Q1 results are expected this month. As the quarter was slower, we are not expecting any surprises. However, we are expecting new records in Q2.

(This is for a game, if it helps).
My setting is in our far future. I originally thought about maybe 60-70,000 years, but I might scale it back to 20-30,000 or so. After our civilization has collapsed (still figuring that part out) partly due to unchecked climate change, our descendants live a sort of agrarian and mid-industrial life. They know about "the ancients" (us) though things like our intentional projects to preserve our knowledge, excavated cities full of iron, glass, and (unfortunately) a layer of microplastic buried nearly everywhere.
It seems like as soon as a society like this finds records of all our scientific and technological knowledge, they would jump ahead in tech by centuries rather quickly. I could set my story at the beginning of this phase, where they just discovered these things recently, but that restricts my ability to have lore, like legends of the deeds of ancient people, religions based around them, etc. I think I would need some kind of suppressive force to stop them from being able to develop their own tech based on this knowledge.
Since this is a game, I will be adding some form of magic for gameplay purposes, which I might attribute to ancient tech (e.g. something we develop in the next few centuries). Maybe that could be part of it, like we did something to screw over our descendants from ever rising to our height again?
Also, if anyone knows of other IP that uses a similar premise, of which I'm sure there are many, I'd be interested to know so I can look into it. I don't want to end up to close to something that already exists.
It sucked when we lost to the Rockets, but they haven't lost since then.
Tonight they became the first team in NBA history to lose 15 straight games and then immediately win five in a row.
We still should have won that game, but at least the loss is a little less painful now.
289 points were scored in this game, beating the previous Hornets record of 281 set in a CHA/ATL 2OT game in March 2020, a couple nights before the COVID shutdown.
The 143 points scored by the Hornets were the most ever by the franchise, surpassing the previous record of 141, set in a regulation win over the Lakers in November 1993.
The Rockets' 146 ties a Hornets opponent record that has stood since February 1990, when the Celtics won 146-125. The Celtics did that in regulation as well.
If you hate defense, come watch Charlotte basketball!
I used to record rocket league clips on the PS5 and around July time every recording was in 1080p 60 FPS with high bitrate it looked clean and was very smooth. However now it records at a lower bitrate and at 30 FPS which is very annoying.
Does anyone know a solution or is this a rocket league problem?
