A list of puns related to "Robin Mitchell"
My glorified crew is Frank Renzulli, Todd Kessler - and the man with the arc whoβs loyle to his capo - Imperioli.
Song premieres at 10am EST.
Have been waiting for a JV/RP collab for well over a decade. Incredibly excited for this one.
Will open the thread at around 9:45!
We give credit where credit's due. David Chase created the world and characters we all love. He built the foundation and none of this exists without David Chase. But...after watching the movie, I agree that there's definitely too much packed in for a movie and development of a lot of things was lacking. I wonder if having the input of all the great writers from the series would have made the story a lot better. Many of the great stories and memorable lines we all love from the show came from these writers.
HAIR DELUXE sample lot $25 shipped for all or name your price for select ones.
When someone's going to die David Chase brings them into the office and tells them, Joe Pantoliano took it pretty well
The judge at the trial is an assistant director on the show, Junior's lawyer is Dan Castleman, a consultant on the show and the assistant prosecutor for the city of New York
Joey Pant: "Just make sure that I die good. If you saw The Matrix or Bound, I want to go out big."
The scripts fall where they may but David may assign an episode to a particular writer if they're available
Joey was brought in to be killed, like Richie. It was the writers' job to redeem him and make him likable in this episode. It was important for them to show anyone who hadn't seen the show that he was a trouble maker, hence the prank call
David comes in at the beginning of the season with a big arch for what all the characters are going to do. (You know who had an arch? Noah. He started out as Meadow's boyfriend and turned into a dick eeyyyyyyyyy) They hit plot points through the season to get to the finale. When they introduced the horse, they knew it would cause the death of Ralphie
The bow and arrow game is something Mitchell really did as a kid. That's how you write, you use every memory you have. Nothing bad ever happened to him, but don't play that game
Most tv shows have two main stories and a smaller one, they all merge. Every scene is a "beat" that moves one or more of the stories forward
There's always a writer on set. There's not really any improvising because there's no time and people on set don't like it
Robin called her brother and asked how they test for dementia, it's called a Folstein test, they changed it in dialogue to Holsten (someone turn that into a clue about what happened in the final scene)
The Sopranos is unique because every character has a specific voice. On some shows you can take dialogue and put it in anyone's mouth, The Sopranos characters are too defined. But as J.T. tells us at the Cleaver after party, you write for everyone
They were researching horses at a racetrack when the planes started flying into The World Trade Center. Every aspect and role of the show is heavily researched
Tony: "If you can quote the rules you can fucking obey them." Robin: "He should talk." Everyone's lying to themselves and everyone else at all times
The questions they give Junior are pretty close to the actual Folstein's. The woman is a real psychiatrist. They learned that you never forget your name
Ralph's
Some matchups to watch in tonightβs absolute barnburner:
Can Walt Lemon Jr put the squeeze on Emmanuel Mudiay?
Will Wayne Selden or Kevin Knox win the battle of Somewhat-Beloved-By-Their-School-But-Not-Really-Memorable College Stars?
Which Robin will outwork the other (personally, Iβm a Jason Todd fan).
Can Luke βMistaken for Maxi Kleberβ Kornet score against the man with the NBAβs longest name (Shai, step aside)?
From 1999-2006, Robin Green and Mitchell Burgess were credited as executive producers on 58 episodes of The Sopranos, and they were also credited as writers on 21 episodes according to IMDB. I believe those totals are second only to series creator David Chase during that timespan. In the intermission between S6 part 1 and 2, Green and Burgess left the show and were replaced as executive producers by Diane Frolov and Andrew Schneider, who previously worked with David Chase on a show called Northern Exposure. Green and Burgess later created Blue Bloods, but that show didn't begin airing until September 2010, more than three years after production wrapped on The Sopranos. Is it likely that they left The Sopranos early to start working on Blue Bloods, or is anyone aware of another reason for their departures? It's something I've been curious about for a while.
with the exception of david chase (and perhaps terry winter), there were no two people more responsible for shaping the show over the course of its run. credited as writers from season one, and EPs from two on, according to matt wiener they were abruptly fired after a huge falling out with chase before the show started its final season.
now i know chase notoriously fired writers left and right, but these two obviously made the grade...so, i guess i'm wondering if there's any gossip out there or rumors that now (years removed) i may have missed.
There have been rumors of a possible expansion, so letβs imagine it does happen, but the NBA decides to only add one new team to the league (sorry Vegas), bringing back the beloved Seattle Supersonics. The Sonics are back babbyyyyyyyy!
Now the Sonics need to build their team from ground up, starting with the expansion draft, and following it with signing players in the off-season.
Here are some simplified terms of the expansion draft:
Atlanta Hawks:
Protected:
Unprotected (Salary this year, Years left on the contract)
#Toronto Maple Leafs (12-6-1) at New York Islanders (5-7-2)
#UBS Arena

... keep reading on reddit β‘I was curious to see who was the best player born on each day of the year. It turned out to be a bit more of a struggle than I thought it was going to be, so I decided to simply sort it by WAR. Does that mean that sometimes a better player got left off the list for a player who simply had a longer career? Absolutely. But WAR is a nice simple stat. So, here's the list!

TL;DR: OUAT is ultimately a show thatβs meant for entertainment. Did itβs storylines get a little odd towards the end? Yes. Were some characters completely redundant? Yes. BUT did the show entertain me throughout? YES!!! And to me, thatβs what matters! So the next time you rewatch it, just tell yourself itβs literally a show about magic and almost requires you to suspend all belief. Skip the episodes that are boring and characters that you dislike (for whatever reasons) and enjoy it for those characters you love <3
CONTEXT: I started watching OUAT in Jan 2014 before going into Uni and was HOOKED (pun intended) - binged what was available in a week or so and watched each half-season as it was released till end of 2017β¦ I think I tried to watch 7B but was so confused about what was going on and just put it off. I still felt like OUAT was one of my fav shows but did feel like a hypocrite considering I didnβt finish the last 10 or so episodes lol. My favs were Hook, Regina and Rumple back then.
So 2 weeks ago I decided to watch the pilot on Disney+ as I had time to kill and ofc could not control myself and binged the 7 seasons in 2 weeks - TBH I found some stuff worse than I remembered (sadly) but MOST THINGS WERE BETTER!!! Hereβs my breakdown of each season:
SEASON 1
SEASON 2
