A list of puns related to "Robert Mondavi Winery"
Another bottle from the gifted cellar. Making some spaghetti tonight and I don't have any Italian wine sitting around that I feel like opening, so California Pinot it is!
Cork: It might as well have been a two year old bottle. Slipped right out, no seeping or saturation, tight as a drum holding the line.
Color: More or less bang on what I'd expect it to be. Highly transparent. Just barely red, closer to garnet, fading to a very orange orange rim.
Nose: I'm struck by how 'sweet' everything seems on the nose. Saturated berry fruit, figs, sweet baking spices, just the faintest hint of vanilla (barrel fermented). There's still an "oldness" about the nose but it isn't dried out or leathery in any way, just not jumping out of the glass with freshness.
Palette: Follows through completely from the nose, sweeter fruit, a very delicate baking spice and brown sugar quality. As soft as can be, incredibly soft tannins and really moderate acid. I would never have guessed this at a 14.5% alcohol wine on the nose or palette either.
Overall: Super impressed, I had a 2003 Belle Glos Clark & Telephone several weeks ago and was really disappointed. For a wine that only retails for around $25, compared to $50+, this is super impressive. Nothing odd or barnyard-y indicated its use of wild yeast and it's well balanced, super enjoyable, and I'd just drinking right in a pretty good spot. I'm happy I pulled this guy off the shelf tonight.
The Mondavi family entered wine early, crafted an experience & Brand. $LVVV is 'Weedery' - sounds nuts/stupid? Good. If u told investors 30 yrs ago that peeps pay $25 to taste 3 wines in Napa, they would laugh! $LVVV targets $50MM in Revenue upon project completion.
HERE WE GO BOYS - Lets get this started...
I purchase the following Over the Counter:
I also buy stocks OTC. As such...
I am all in $LVVV. I purchased shares at .008. I am holding. I see so much of Robert Mondavi in this company. Do you realize that Mondavi has a wine tasting room for its premium Opus One brand that STARTS at $125 per person? My dad is blue collar. When I told him this, he looked at me w a disgust usually retained for me. As such, he was disgusted.$LVVV is operating with Mondavi like vision - its setting out for a premium marijuana crop. Who the hell buys land super expensive land in San Luis Obispo California, gets a license from the county (state pending) and opens up a Weedery?
FACTS on the COMPANY:
$LVVV has a passionate leader who wrote a very unusual (in the sense of its candid nature) letter to the shareholders:
PRESS THE BUTTONS! POT IS HOT. Most POT Stocks ARE NOT. This POT is Organic bro.
