A list of puns related to "Riverside Studios"
I don't want to be renting a room in somebody's private house becuase, honestly, that seems too awkward. I also don't want to rent a whole rowhouse/2br floor of one. I'm single. I don't need a spare room. I just want a studio or 1br that'll be relatively quiet where I won't be bothered. But I also don't want to pay out the ass for crap I don't care about like a community space or pool or that other crap I see in the virtual tour of anthem house. Looking for that middle ground... is it anywhere?
Just want to know as a new fan. Are they all up there?
I personally think it would've fit the best in III.
Hi all, I've been living in Riverside for the past 5 years as a UCR student, but come summer I'm going to be getting my first apartment by myself (no roommates or housemates) because I'll be working out here indefinitely, and I was just wondering if anyone knew some of the best (affordable) complexes with studios or 1 bedroom units. I'm not really looking to spend more than $900 a month, I could do $950 if the place is reeeallly worth it but ideally I'm looking at between $700 and $900. I'm not too picky, my only concern is I don't want an apartment known for auto theft/vandalism and especially rats...I have an immense fear of rats and some of the older, cheaper apartments I've looked at look very nice and affordable but I'm always scared there might be a rat issue lol. Stories/reviews/recommendations are very welcome :)
Oh, and just a PS, I'd prefer to live in the northern half of Riverside for convenience's sake, but I wouldn't be opposed to something in South Riverside if it's worth it.
Hi,
I have a studio apartment for sublet on East Riverside for $1020. It's right beside Buzz Mill Coffee and the new Jackalope location. It's super dog-friendly and has a doggy door to the small back yard. The new units are renting for $1045, so it's a bit cheaper.
Features: Backyard Walk-in Closet Washer/Dryer in unit Corner Apt. No stairs Hardwood (peel and stick, tho) Granite countertops
It's pretty nice in an area that is rapidly getting more pricey. Let me know if you want to see pics!
Got a spare ticket (won two, sister cancelled) for the opening performance tomorrow...anyone who wants to join should probably text - number still on Twitter, still same ID as Reddit - but get sick of going alone and sitting in silence at these things.
Doesn't necessarily have to be Skype or zoom either. I'm open to suggestions on that as well.
Edit: sorry, I was at work. This is only for a one time thing. I'm gonna be a guest on a small podcast and was asked to record both ends of the conversation. I only have experience recording myself in audacity.
I've obtained quite a few new recordings (thanks largely to u/roffels !!!!) and as such I hit the 20gb limit on mega, so I've switched to google drive. I'm not sure how many of you guys use soulseek, but I'm also sharing this collection there (username simplicial), so feel free to download them from there.
As always, if you have a recording that's not on this list please let me know and I'll be glad to add it to this archive. If you notice any inconsistencies, typos, etc in the file tagging let me know.

... keep reading on reddit β‘Hey y'all; In my never-ending journey of trying to choose artists, I've come across quite a few artists that I like. I decided to put them in a list by location, and figured I'd share it in case anyone is trying to find new artists in their area or just look at cool art. A few disclaimers, I live in the Northeast US, so it is somewhat concentrated in that region. Obviously this is only a small handful of artists of those out there, and there's no way I could get them all. I also am not claiming these these are the only good artists in these places, just the ones I've come across and like personally. Lastly, I split the US up into four sections, but this isn't /r/mapporncirclejerk so try to refrain from critiquing what the Midwest is. I hope to keep growing this list so feel free to dm artists that I've missed, I feel like this could be a helpful resource for the sub. ( I marked a few of my favorites with *). Edit: Sorry if its showing up a bit messy for mobile, it was formatted for desktop.

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
Letβs pretend I was bored and needed to meet friendsβ¦.
Hypothetically, a weird 27 year old guy in San Marco/Riverside moved here for work, was desperately bored, and didnβt know anybody because work shifted to remote the day he arrivedβ¦.how would he meet people
Seriously though, I just donβt know what to do. Iβm an introvert, but a wannabe extrovert. I havenβt even made a beach trip yet because I have such crazy anxiety going out on my own without any friends or anything.
Iβm kind of a seeking other weirdos or fun people overall. Im kind of hippie-ish, love yoga, also like sports and gaming (solo console). I just donβt know what Iβm supposed to do. I donβt want to be in some massive crowd, but something fun and lower key, but still able to meet people? Like, how do you meet friends (of the same age) who like the same things? Nobody talks at my gyms. And Iβm not really all that confident, so I come across very serious and probably a little dull until you get to know me. But I think Iβm okay. I just donβt know how to build community.
I guess like, at my studio I talk about not knowing anyone, but itβs not like I get invites. Same at my other gym. Iβve never done this - Iβve always been too busy with work or had a friend drag me along. Again, I wanna be an extrovert and do more in life after the last two years were taken away. But I donβt know how. Meetup is something I tried but all the groups that interest me are way older. Ugh. Kills my confidence. Is there like anything I can do this weekend? Something relatively safe, just trying to not be so alone
Do your worst!
