Obviously more routes would need to happen to make the rail system plausible, but I think the radical part of it all would be Riverside becoming all rail. Connecting Dublin to grandview to downtown would be a game changer.
This would be inclusive of the already existing commercial tracks from the airport to the convention center.
It’s been three weeks of radio silence since it happened. For example the attack on the Muslim family (which was horrendous, and I hope never happens again) happened on Sunday June 7. By Monday June 8, we had a motive, we knew the drivers name and his age. By Tuesday June 9 we knew where he was from, and where he worked. By Monday June 14, he was charged under the terrorism act.

Went outbound this morning and saw the same "it's a mystery!" conditions that have applied the last few months. (About 95% sure)
On my way back, I saw a DOT crew out there. They already had real paint down to re-mark the double-yellow line the whole length of the overpass, and had temporary indicators for where the white paint will go for buffers, lane separators northbound, the fog lines, etc.
Good! Drivers unfamiliar with what the markings were supposed to be were making dangerous mistakes. I gave the crew a quick shoutout when I went by.
This was around 101st/100th Street. Be alert!
