I love a good canyon. I also love natural artwork in a canyon. Oh, there's a winding river at the bottom of the canyon? Even better! Now let's add some dramatic natural light to make the perfect capture!

Paid $700 to be a a contender for most likely to be in the news for serial rape. It's for shag carpet, wood paneling and padded vinyl, none of which I recommend you touch without gloves. Light it up, and try to be more original than an uncle Rico or down by the river jokes.

A short time-lapse compilation of some of the river views I had on my first ever solo wilderness trip! I paddled by packraft for 27 days in northern Ontario with only a billion or two mosquitoes for company. Northern lights, moose, whitewater and solitude.

Are cameras allowed in River of Lights?
Just wanted to see if anyone knows the answer to this? I looked at most of the websites about the event as possible but couldn't find an answer.

Hiked to the top of Thompson peak yesterday and watched the sunset from the radio station. Easy hike, would definitely recommend. You can see the smog from Phoenix from there, and at night the 101 looks like a flowing river of lights.

Score! - I planned this snap for a bit. I wanted the lights of the High Trestle Bridge near Madrid to reflect in the Des Moines River during a full moon. The very active electrical storm was the icing on the cake.

FYI, Revel Gear Trail Hound 30 ft. Camping lights are the perfect length for all around the edges of the Hennessy Hex rainfly. Next steps are to commit to the suspension mods by cutting the extra cord length and to select / purchase an underquilt. It got cold along the Au Sable river this week!
