I am doing research on the possible desire to build/create or fund a unique community driven OS for ARM and RISC-V. With Apple Silicon taking a commanding lead comes a new and exciting frontier in computing. Apple is poised to dominate the Custom Silicon concept but that doesn't mean there isn't opportunity for creative new projects to sprout and flourish. Now is the time to bring the collective intelligence, creativity, enthusiasm, drive and resources of the Linux and Open Source communities to bring together the best ideas from everyone's favorite distros and unite them together under a collective project that pushes ARM, RISC-V, and Open Source hardware to the competitive edge. It is an exciting time for creative community powered computing to really thrive and new ideas to flourish. All we need is some interest and some good solid base ideas on which to build concepts upon and then we can begin to distribute this idea through all kinds of channels to build momentum enough to kickstart an effort. If you are interested please comment. I will be working on some basic surveys to start collecting community opinion on various elements.
I will be honest im not sure how much i really remember but this was a point and click style. You could explore and interact with characters and the objects in the level. It might have been Simon the Sorcerer but while the idea seems similar I don’t think its that game…
I might be wrong but i think I remember something like billy being the name.That may be a red herring though.
Also not sure but think protagonist was a knight not a sorcerer or wizard 🧙♂️
I have a project in mind to build a Wi-Fi Sheep'esque micro computer, as a Basic programming and messing around machine.
I tested Risc OS on a Pi 3 B and it worked fine, but I use that same Pi 3 for other things, so I want to get another Pi for this project. I was wondering how well the Pi Zero W would perform with Risc OS and if it is a good alternative to the Pi 3 to use for a project like this?
