You play as an overly rich and spoiled Isaac that starts only with "Mr. Me!" The one main rule: you CANNOT PICK UP ANY COLLECTABLES. (No bombs, no keys, no coins. NO EXEPTIONS) Everything must be done with the Mr. Me, you can't pick up an item until Mr. Me brings it to you. (ITEMS not CONSUMABLES) Opening chests and locked doors requires Mr. Me, blowing open marked rocks and secret rooms requires Mr. Me, even buying stuff from the shop must all be done with Mr. Me. To make it easier to not pick up collectibles, use the G0NE S00N seed to get rid of them. Now have a jolly good time, won't you sir?
I've known about his works for a while and actually saw a little of the series that was made with Hugh Laurie as Wooster and Stephen Fry as Jeeves (both are perfect in their roles). I was in the mood for a light read so I decided to finally give Wodehouse a go.
First off, I understood before reading this that it was a collection of short stories. I laughed so many times due to Wodehouse's turns of phrase ("Aunt is calling to aunt like mastodons bellowing across primeval swamps" for example). I do have to admit though that by the end, I found it sort of tedious due to how repetitive the stories got. Despite that, I do want to check out the actual novels. My next read will be The Code of the Woosters.
