A list of puns related to "Rick Jeanneret"
I do not care if you have a negative opinion of this team as of late...or for the past decade or two...the seats better be filled for Rick Jeanneretβs last call. He has arguably done more for us as fans than the players have. The first syllable of his voice is recognizable by any Sabres fan instantly. Rick has been the heartbeat of excitement for this fan base, pumping our veins and ears with endless quotable goal calls year after year.
It doesnβt matter if you hate this franchise right now. You canβt hate that man and we as fans canβt let a single seat be empty.
Along with watching his name be lifted into the rafters, attendees can even use the app that lets you can listen to his play by play while in the arena, so you donβt have to worry about not hearing his last call!
Thank you, R.J.
There it is. The inevitable happens.
Cybulski is boring.
Rick is gonna have some free time to record after watching the Sabres suck for one final season.

Anyways, I live in San Diego now and I would love to be able to watch the Sabres games (not just went they play the west coast teama), but I can't stand the NBC announcers or anyone other than RJ!!
Is there a way to watch RJ's broadcasting? I'm am idiot when it comes to these things any tips I appreciate!

also can someone please explain how to post a goddam youtube video?
I don't even care if the Sabres lose the Cup, I just want to watch Jeanneret to call a live game that I'm old enough to remember. I mean, yeah I want the Sabres to win of course, but I just want Jeanneret to get that honor.
Seems we're no closer to that goal than ten years ago.
Hoping the olβ man is ok
Edit: meant replaced
Edit: Tweet that RJ was taken out in a gurney: https://twitter.com/christrapasso/status/1076664121960087552?s=21
Hasnβt called the past games
Very concerning. Heard rumor he was carried out on a stretcher. Hope RJ is ok!
I know there's a lot of love league wide for Rick, for obvious reasons, but I honestly still find it astonishing that this man has been at the top of his game so long. He's been calling Sabres games basically since their inception, and has survived and defeated having throat cancer. Listening to him call our games has been an absolute delight for a long, long time, and I honestly don't know what it's going to be like when he retires. Tonight's game vs. Montreal, and the calls on the Lehner and Price saves, followed by the Bogosion goal, must affirms my stance. He's loud, hyperbolic, and over the top, but that just makes him that much more special. I know that he's not everyone's cup of tea, but he deserves all the recognition that he gets and then some, because he adds another exciting layer to an already exciting game.
I feel like I missed an announcement, I expected him to be back after the All-star break, I miss his voice.
"Well as I was so rudely interrupted... he SCOOOOORED!" ~Rick Jeanneret
In appreciation of still being able to listen to Rick call games, itβs easy to hang onto words/figures of speech he uses to call games. Aside from the already very popular phrases, I think word cloud analytics would be super interesting and borderline art for Sabres fans (especially as we hopefully begin to have more fond memories of this team again). I know they do this for the team at years end but is there anything specific to Rick that either has or could be done?
TLDR: Requesting a Rick Jeanneret word cloud
I've asked this here in the past, but i have not had any luck yet. last year the sabres were selling RJ bobbleheads for charity and I very much wanted to have one but was between jobs at the time and couldn't afford it. I travel for work and would love to hear a reminder from home everynow and again. if anyone has one or an extra please dm, I would greatly appreciate it.
A buddy of mine won a private lunch with them. Very grateful for the opportunity and thought Id take advantage of it. Ask away. Ill see what I can do
