A list of puns related to "Richard Howell"
It appears to be in Proceedings of the American Academy of Arts and Letters and the National Institute of Arts and Letters, 2nd series, no. 26 (1976), pp. 43-46 which I can't find digitally (even with a university library).
Earth Wind and Fire contributing Saxophonist joins Hyde Street Studios owner Michael Ward in a group called Michael Ward with Dogs and Fishes. Their new album Blind Spot has some awesome tracks, cool to see Richard still playing!

I've been an on and off lurker in this sub-Reddit for a few years now, and it certainly is unique and useful in many cases. However, even speaking as an agnostic, I've been noticing that this sub has gotten awfully one-sided. When scholarship comes to a majority position on something that does not support the traditional interpretation of things (e.g., Jesus predicting the end of the age in the disciple's lifetime), said scholarship is rightly presented. But on issues where most scholars take a position that is more favorable towards mainstream Judaism or Christianity, that scholarship is hardly presented. And when it is, there is a flood of people who dispute it typically. Some of this is done respectfully, which is no problem obviously. Debates seem integral to this sub. But much of it has gotten to a point where people who present mainstream and even majority views on things (that happen to line up with tradition Jewish or Christian views on things) are accused of doing "apologetics" (in a disparaging/pejorative sense). Or the scholarship itself it just hand waved as being biased itself. Etc.
Just to give a recent example of what I mean, take this response to this post on Josephus (unfortunately, the poster deleted it, but there are various ways to read deleted posts). Even though it is pretty well known in scholarship that the "whole-sale forgery" view of the Jesus passage in Antiquities 18 is a very small minority position, apparently some people on this sub would rather misrepresent said scholarship and bend the facts to make that not so. The responder to the post writes,
>Firstly, you seem to have just picked the few sources that would back you up, but despite what your post claims, actually a lot of scholars now think the Testimonium was entirely interpolated. Olson's work, in fact, convinced one of the world's foremost authorities on Josephus, Louis Feldman. It is actually a position with quite a few proponents. Even the noted E. P. Sanders, who thought it was authentic, still did not think it was useful because it was interpolated and could only be recreated in some hypothetical conglomerate.
The poster him or herself actually never made that claim about Olson's hypo

Overview: As of posting, Alabama stands at 3 scholarship QBs, returning the Heisman winner and some young pieces. Alabama will take 1 QB a year indefinitely, so here's the list of their options this year.
Name | Rank/Hometown | Top Schools | Early Buzz |
---|---|---|---|
1. 5* Arch Manning | 247 - #1, On3 - #1, from New Orleans, LA | Top 5: UGA, Alabama, Texas, Ole Miss, Clemson | The nation's top recruit for the time being, if there's one recruit even your mom will eventually know, it's this kid. Nephew to Peyton and Eli, you can see the similarities in playstyle, albeit adapted to modern systems. Not sure if he's #1 overall but he is good and is likely top 50 at worst. Arch and his family are VERY intentional in their recruitment; no social media and few interviews. We do know his top 5 and that he'll likely enter his senior year commited. UGA's on him hard, he seems like a fit there, and they have a championship to sell. Texas is primarily in it because Arch loves Sark, but Texas is obviously a mess currently, though Quinn Ewers could change that quickly. Ole Miss has the family connection and can put up points but Lane is out as soon as he gets an NFL offer or a better college job. Clemson felt good but has fallen with the losses and staff turnover. The Mannings respect coach Saban, have had good conversations with BoB (for the time being) and there's no bias affecting Arch's decision. Any pick would be made with the lowest possible confidence; I lean UGA with Bama as either 2nd or 3rd. |
2. 5* Nicholas Iamaleava (EE - Ah - Ma - Lay - Va) | 247 - #17, On3 - #12, from Downey, CA (SoCal) | Early Options: Alabama, Tennessee, Oregon, UCLA, UGA | Alabama's other 5* QB prospect and a VERY viable options: 6'6", mobile, strong arm, a lot to like here. A West Coast kid of Tongan descent, USC already has a QB commit which leaves slimmer pickings on the West Coast. Bama's doing a good job early on the West Coast and has leveraged the Pacific Island connection of Tua and Cameron Latu on numerous 2023 prospects, which has been well received. Alabama is in a very good spot but another unique challenger is Tennessee, a school he raves about in the fall with its new Briles offense. I'd place the top 3 as Bama, Tenn, and Oregon, likely in that order for the time being. |
3. 4* Dylan Lonergan | 247 - #86, On3 - #90, from Snellville, GA (Atlanta Metro) | Early Schools: UGA, Alabama, GT | Another QB on the board; Lonergan has some similarities to Sam Howell |
I will include in my email the issues I think the legislature should be working on during this session.

... keep reading on reddit β‘So many of you probably already saw this, but since my comment did so well, I figured I'd make a post out of it for those who haven't. Beginning when I was a young kid, I've been keeping an ever-growing list of modern day US serial killers were active in the 2000s, 2010s, and 2020s. While most famous serial killer cases took place in the 70s, 80s, and 90s, the same info gets rehashed over and over again until there is nothing new to be said. The point of this post is to show that serial killers other than Israel Keyes have been, and are still active in the US well past the 90s, and there are many fascinating cases that are simply forgotten or overlooked. If this does well, I will do a part 2, and also likely do some "20 Fascinating Serial Killers of the 2000s" posts as well. I may already have enough to do a 2020s installment at some point too. Hope ya'll enjoy!
EDIT: I changed Billy Chemirmir's entry from being listed as the "most prolific" to "one of the most prolific." I remembered another 2010s serial killer who had an even higher victim count. I will do a summary for him in Part 2. Also replaced Harold Haulman because he is technically a 2020s serial killer.
-------
-Billy Chemirmir: One of the most prolific serial killer cases on American soil in recent years, yet nobody seems to know about him. Billy Chemirir is a Kenyan immigrant who suffocated and strangled numerous elderly women to death in their homes and assisted living facilities in the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area from 2016 to 2018. He would sometimes gain access to the residences of these elderly women by pretending to be a home healthcare worker. He is charged with 18 murders and linked to a total of 24.
-Elias Abuelazam: AKA the Serial Slasher or the Flint Serial Killer. Israeli-American serial killer who committed a series of random stabbing attacks on numerous men from 2009 to 2010 in Michigan, Ohio, and Virginia. Several of his victims survived, but 6 died of their wounds. 5 of his victims were fatally stabbed in Flint, MI while walking down the street, and one was stabbed to death in his home in Leesburg, VA. In most cases, Abuelazam would approach the victim asking for directions or pretending to have car trouble, and then would stab them in the chest and torso without warning.
-Itzcoatl Ocampo: Ex-marine turned serial killer who was active in Orange County, CA from 2011 to 2012, and killed 6 people by stabbing them to death. Four of his victims were homeless men who he attack

First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

Made all-time hometown rosters with original 30 NBA teams + 25 new teams to split populated areas and big teams (spreadsheet + map)
I used the top 969 players who have at least 10000 minutes played in their career.
Why 10000 minutes played? Because that's the lower standard set by Basketball-Reference to get on their ABA career leaderboard (15000 MP for NBA). I added George Mikan, because even though he hasn't played enough minutes, he's featured in All-Time ESPN NBARank and Bill Simmons Hall of Fame Pyramid.
I started off with the current 30 teams. To split up the Lakers and Clippers, I gave the Clippers their proposed Inglewood site.
