First off, I have tabs nearly 20 years old my buddies are still afraid to take more than 1 or 2 of (depending on the person, I’m good with 1)
LSD is degraded by 4 things: Heat, Light, Moisture, and Oxygen, in that order.
Don’t use foil, don’t put them in the freezer or the fridge, don’t leave them laying in your dashboard in Arizona, and for gods sake don’t let them touch tap water, it has chlorine in it which will instantly destroy the LSD. If you want to know more details behind these things you can scour the internet for more info, but Jesus Christ stop with the tin foil and freezer, I cringe every time I see someone recommend it.
If you want a quick and dirty way to preserve 10-20 hits for a year or so, little coke baggie sized ziploc inside a book in a cool room, that’s where it goes. NOW, if you have a lot, and you wanna keep it forever, or are just super anal and want to preserve your 10 strip like a science nerd, then read below:
Step 1: Vacuum seal the tabs (use the sealer to make little pouches, then put the tabs in and seal them far away from the tabs, the sealer gets really really hot.). I make like 8-10 little pouches along the bottom of a bag just wide enough for little packs of 5 or 10 hits and seal them all at once, like a blister pack. (Cut them apart carefully so they stay sealed) So that when I need to refresh my personal use stash, I just open one of those and the rest stays sealed. I try to keep my stash around 1-2 packs of 5-10 hits in a separate jar. Not too many out of storage at once.
Step 2: Purchase UV proof jars (I use “infinity jars”) put the sealed tabs in the jars. I find the 100ml tall size jars to be perfect.
Step 3: Put in some FRESH desiccant packs, like 4 (0.5 gram packets without the color changing indicator dye). Just buy a bag of them, it’s like $6. Don’t use the ones that came in your electronics.
Step 4: Fill the jars with Argon gas. It is available online as “bloxygen” or some various “wine preserver” products. It is a noble gas and will displace all of the oxygen in the jars and place the tabs in an “inert environment”
At this point, if you REAALLY wanna be perfect, you can put these jars in the freezer, but you have to let it sit out on the counter and warm back up to room temp over like 8 hours before you can open them. Just leave them in a cool room. Worked for Sandoz, it will be fine for you.
