A list of puns related to "Residence Inn"
Sooo, Iβm quarantining in a hotel with a kitchenette. It has one pot, one pan. No sheet pans. One horrible knife.
Iβd happily make a cooking series from this.. What should I cook??
Edit: as of now, Iβm doing pork chops with sautΓ©ed veg (inc tomatoes) which will season some jasmine rice.
And chicken thigh wrapped asparagus with a cauliflower with a sort of bechamelly style sauce. Wish me luck!
Potentially going to be staying here for approx 2-3 months while Iβm in Raleigh for a contract. Any opinions on this extended stay hotel? Safe? Clean? Sketchy as hell and I should run the other way?
Alternatively, any good furnished housing options with month to month leasing for 2 adults, a dog, and a cat for less than $2500 a month? Preferably in the North Hills or Downtown areas?
I was planning on applying for this position cause you get a free apartment + meal plan. But it seems that you would have to work 7 days/week making it a total of more than 40 hours per week. If anyone is currently doing this or has done it, is it worth it? Did/Do you have time for schoolwork?
Found this on Facebook.

This article is behind a paywall, and I can't find any other article on it, but I think we've all seen this shit before. But I want a TBM or official to explain to me why they even need a 200 room Marriot in Hawaii. Why do they need anymore tithing if they can afford this? Why do they demand tithing from their poorest members,or any members honestly, when they're clearly set for eternity? They claim they need money for their temples, but they clearly have it!
I don't know, I'm just really pissed. They take advantage of their members all over the world and so many of them defend this shit. They say "oh, that's a seperate arm, that's money from investments and businesses." Even if it is, arms are still attached to bodies and the body of a CHURCH shouldn't need or even want a 100 MILLION DOLLAR hotel! Why aren't they using that money for the people, to help them more? To help the world?
Make it make sense.

Title says it all, trying to decide between these two properties. Did a search of the sub and didn't see anything comparing the two so would love to hear some feedback if anyone has experience at either/both. Thanks!
Pre-pandemic, Residence Inn had a free grocery shopping service that let guests tell the front desk what kind of groceries they need, and the hotel would have someone run out and fulfill the request, charging for the groceries that were purchased. I thought that this was a great program. Is this still being offered in the post-covid world? Sounds like the free hot breakfast isn't a thing anymore, but haven't heard much about the grocery shopping service. Haven't been to a Marriott property since December 2019 but will be soon! Thanks!
