In WW2, why did Poland not give in to German demands for the city of Danzig? Did the "Allied Guarantee of Independence " give them the false confidence to do so or was there more at play?
It seems absurd to risk an entire counties defeat over 1 city which has been contested for years and years at the time, whilst the surrender of the Czech Republic's Sudetenland as well as the Anschluss of Austria should have proven the inaction of the Allied Governments correct?

I'm clearing out the collection of some rarities first; not really looking for trades as I'm using the cash to fund another hobby. Obviously happy to provide any photos just let me know I'll take as many as you need. I keep my records generally in exceptional condition, I promise no need to be skeptical of my grading! :)

- Nine Inch Nails: With Teeth (2005, Nothing). NM/NM. Purchased new on release day in 2005. This is the only physical version featuring the track Home integrated into the track listing (it's track 11, after Sunspots) vs tacked onto the end as a bonus track. Played maybe twice all these years. $150.
- William Onyeabor: Volume 1 box set (2014, Luaka Bop). NM/NM. For the uninitiated Onyeabor is a Nigerian funk musician prominent in the late 70s and one of the first African musicians to embrace electronic music instruments (Onyeabor prominently used a Minimoog, because obviously). Limitied to 3000 copies - this is 2476. All records unplayed. Includes 5 12", and a 7". Great set for funk fans. $130.
- Danzig: Danzig (2002, Def American). NM/VG++. Reverb calls this an "unofficial release" but I bought this in 2003 from Hot Topic of all places, and I really can't see them selling boots. Regardless, amazing album and super hard to find on vinyl. $115.
- John Carpenter & Alan Howarth: Halloween II soundtrack (2014, Death Waltz). NM/NM. Never played OOP Death Waltz. Opened just to confirm which version it is (clear frosted LP). $55.

System of a Down: Toxicity (2001, American Recordings). NM/VG++. This is not the more common Columbia pressing. Bought it myself in 2001. I don't think I ever played it all these years? $85. - Depeche Mode: Violator Live (bootleg, purchased 2016). NM/NM. 3XLP colored vinyl (blue and purple) Soundboard bootleg of the Dodger Stadium shows during their 1990 tour. Wonderful sounding & very rare. No playback issues whatsoever (some pressings of this boot had issues because the grooves weren't deep enough). $100.

Local pick up. Story goes itβs a 1917 Danzig re arsenal. Supposedly itβs was re done in 7mm Mauser, I know nothing about the history of it past that.
