A list of puns related to "Renault 5 Turbo"
I had one when I was younger and it was so fun to drive. (I also love how it looks and sounded).
Hard to describe but it just felt like it pulled away beautifully (it's funny looking at it's 0-60 time now as it's not that fast and much slower than lots of modern hatchbacks that don't even feel fast or people don't associate with being fast)
It felt a little bit like a go-kart to drive at times too. Felt like I was close to the ground and could feel the bumps in the road that I kind of liked and it just seemed to handle nicely.
I bought it for 1k and sold it for 1400, and now I feel sick when I see how much it would cost to buy one! haha. Wish i'd have kept it. Also wish companies never stopped making car models
Hi guys. That's my first here, so let me send the love to you all for creating this community.
I actually fell in love and i'd like to share my loved one with You. Maybe there is someone who is looking for the same feelings that I do. I was just messing around with this 1980 Renault 5 Turbo when I realized that it may acctually be quite good. So I took it to some rivals laps and bang. Easy 1% on every dirt track I tried. As for right now, I posted 305th time on Horizon Baja Scramble (01:09:436). Please note that I did only few laps to try it, and i do believe that there is a lot of time to cut from that. I also posted 658th time on River Scramble (01:16:476) and 428th time on Mangrove Scramble (01:12:222). The car just seems to work really well. It may not be the smoothest drive, but it is fast. And I just love to turn with this car.

Ofc I made this tune suited for myself, and I don't ever use handbrake while driving, so i reccomend just downshift and use normal breaking. I drive manual shifting with abs on, nomal driving and TCS and STM off. Im not saying this is a perfect setup, maybe someone can tweak it to be even better, thats why im posting it here. I feel like with enough knownledge it can be even better. I would love to get any feedback from You guys.
Lets get to the tune part of this waaay to long post.
I'm french and for my first open tune, decided to take kind of a "meme car" for me. In France the R5 is pretty common on the countryside, often slow old and rusty with a crazy exhaust sound. I guess the turbo edition is way better but the game doesn't have that many french cars I know this well (it was my uncle car for more than 10 years). I don't know anything about building or tuning cars IRL and got interested into it for about 2 weeks, that's why I stay in B700 for now. Followed a few guides on yt (Hoki/SP4) and there you go.
Managed to get 01:13.124 on HMC B700, wich I'm a bit proud of as I didn't know anything about manual driving/racing lines 2 weeks ago :)
Hope you'll enjoy and your feedback is welcome !

Good evening, this is my first Forza game, or really first time getting into any racing game really. Have been having a blast with this A Class rally 5 Tubo, getting multiple top 1000s on rivals, but looking for any feedback as I still feel like I am just kind of bumbling in the dark with tuning.
I have tried to look at HoshiHoki guides when tuning, as well as the guides at the top of the subreddit, but still just kinda feel like I am changing things and hoping for the best, without anything real specific.
I do edit gears and aero on a by race basis some times, shortening gearing for slower tracks, or lengthening gears and reducing aero on tracks where I feel like the speed could help.
Parts:
Engine: I4 - Trubo Rally Swap, AWD Swap
Front and Rear Tuneable Aero, Front hood weight decrease, No Side skirts or Rear bumper weight decrease
Offroad tires, 205 front, 295 Rear, minimum weight rims, maximum track width
6Spd Race Transmission, Race Driveline, Offroad Diff
Sport Brakes, Rally Susp, Race ARBS, No chasis reinforcement, Maximum weight reduction
Race Cams, Stock Displacement, Stock Turbo, Remove Restrictors
Tune:
17 PSI Front, 15 PSI RearGears: Final: 2.75, 1-6: 4.15 -> 3.01 -> 2.31 -> 1.82 -> 1.47 -> 1.24
Alignment: Camber: -2.5 Front -1.7 Rear
Toe: 0.3 Out Front 0.0 Rear
Caster: 6.5
ARBs: 8 Front, 7.5 Rear
Springs: 157.7 Front, 275.4 Rear
Min ride height.
Damping: Rebound 6.2 Front, 5.7 Rear
Bump 3.1 Front 2.4 Rear
Aero 118 Front 222 Rear
Diff Front 65% Accel 10% Decel
Rear 85% Accel 20% Decel
Balance 60% Rear
Thanks for any help or feedback.
Requires a bit of a delicate right foot, but I was able to get a 1:05.9 at Horizon Mexico Street and I'm a turnip so maybe it'll work for you too. The engine I swapped in has a super wide power band so feel free to select a higher gear than you actually need if you're struggling with oversteer.
note: Anything with a star* next to it is something you can change without altering the build that much. If I were building this for nothing but performance I'd probably put the upgraded clutch in and take off the useless body kit upgrades (but it does look cool)

If this car drives like a drift car for you, you're overdriving it. If you still want to dial out some oversteer, you can try stiffening the front ARB, but then you risk dealing with snap oversteer that will make the car feel terrible. I could have made an AWD car but I went with RWD for a reason, it's more fun and turns gooder.
